Is anybody else tired of being accused of exploiting becuase you kill a bunch of whiney loosers with no hint of intelligence? I pick to master two professions with good defense, now a master pistolier and master weaponsmith cant beat me in combat, oh no im "exploiting". If i get in a fight with a brawler and get a 20 second warcry, if i dont stand there and get the snot beat out of me, im "exploiting" by running. If i fight a ranged fighter and i hide behind a wall im "terrain exploiting". Ifi swim into the water out of range of guys chasing me and they cant attack me while im in water, thats also an exploit. If those same guys are dumb enough to follow me to the other side of the water and I use my 64m rifle deathblow on them while they are swimming thats a "cheap exploit". Use of a stun damage rifle on a guy with 80% kintetic resist composite armor is an exploit.

There are some guniune exploits in the game, disconnecting so you loose your overt stats and become unattackable, that is an exploit and i dont recommend doing that. But killing a bunch of noobs that have no idea of what to do but spam the same move over and over till i only have to get a hit on one of your pools to incap, is not exploiting, it comes from knowing my character.

For all of your whiners calling for nerfs, learn how to play the game. Im sick of people who think that just because they do awesome in pve where the creatures dont aim for the mind and dont have delay moves, and generaly dont do any of the really smart things players do, think they should own pvp.

Oh and by the way if you grind TK master in 5 days you will not learn how to play a TK. I laugh at TKM's when they try to take me on (i too am a TKM), most of them scream Im a noob while they carry their vk's and wear armor. I just let them spam unarmed hit 3 till they have no action left and one leg hit later they are dead. I have been TKM since august, If you stick with a profession instead of grinding a new one for a holo every week (this will change soon thankfully) you will learn how to play your character, and learn your strengths and weaknesses.

Ok sorry this has been kinda long post but i just wanted to vent </rant>

There is a fine line between being a cheap exploiter and simply doing things in a way which covercomes a weakness or takes advantage of one. Exploits typically are things which have no been in the game for long, they give advantages which shouldn't exist. So no your not exploiting by hiding behind walks, using terrain as cover to get within range of someone. Frankly if I'm attacked by an Imperial player who fights at ranged and there's no way for me to get close to him to land a dizzy attack which should hopefully make him fall on his butt then I run. I run my a*s off. The fact is that some people do indeed not fight using thier smarts, just because someone out witted them doesn't mean that person used an exploit. I've dueled with people before now using my TKA novice, accused of cheating because I'm also a chef and had my pools and regeneration buffed plus I downed some exo-protien wafers for additional protection.

The fact is that 'people' are dumb, don't let them get to ya.

Any type of tactics in this game are labeled exploits. Remember the so-called pathing exploit with torturs? Run between 2 houses and the tortur will try and follow you and get stuck. Instead of condoning something that makes sense they give animals bigger brains so they could warp through the houses and get to you. Wish I had that kind of brain power.

Exploiting and being cheap...

Being cheap is using the flaws of the game design to your personal advantage, even though it's *not* against any rules.Exploiting is taking advantage of flaws in the game design to get an unfair advantage where it's obviously apunishable offense... ie. the combat medic AOE through buildings.

Stun rifles? They designed composite to not have stun protection naturally, and if it does, it's not much more than 40% (unless you find some *INCREDIBLE* rare resources).

Warcries? I think they're cheap and won't use them, but if I'm fighting a master brawler and he warcries me, I'll wait it out with my 90% kinetic, then take my jawa rifle out andheadshot them until they're quickly dead. When they **edit**, I tell them if they didn't warcry, I wouldn't do that. <shrug>
