Thread: What's the best ranged profession to go with Master TKA?
I mastered Rifleman. Didn't do much PvP with it. I want to try Pistoleer wit Smuggler since I would have about 10 differ pistol attacks to use. The problem with Rifleman is the cost for specials. They eat up the mind like crazy. I think pistol specials use less HAM. I just want to try the specials, think of someone using these attacks on you in no time:
Panic Shot...Pistol Whip 2...Stopping Shot....Fan Shot...Body Shot 3...Multitarget Shot...Low Blow....Last Ditch
That seems like an arsenal of attacks to use. You can probably fire all of those with a good speed sliced pistol in no time.
Italian you are right there are allot of specials but in reality you won't need/use all of those. Body Shot 3 for example is useless really. It's not much an improvement over Body Shot 2.
As for the original question of this thread while riflemen are very deadly, a big part of who wins boils down to who lands what special in what order! You can have the most deadly special in the game, but it won't do you any good if you miss and you opponet doesn't!! Personally my last duel with a riflemen went rather quickly. I landed low blow and panic shot followed by a stun from last ditch and from there it was just watching his ham's go down while he laid on the ground unable to do anything! That doesn't mean my professions are uber or riflemen are weak. If I had missed on low blow and/or panic shot and riflemen gets two or three good shots to my mind.....well it's a completely different battle.
I guess in the end, it boils down to find the ranged profession you enjoy. Don't worry about what profession is considered "uber" at the moment, because that opinion will change from patch to patch. Play what makes you happy and understand that somedays you will be the last standing in battle and somedays you will be the first one to die. Everyone dies, it's part of the game. There is never a "perfect" class in any game.
