I am not sure on this one...I know that other brawler skill exist but I went straight up the unarmed tree to get to TKA.....was this a mistake.

I figured only staff, sword or two handed melee defenses only worked when using the corresponding weapons....did I do the right thing by passing all others and going straight up the unarmed tree?

It might, but I doubt it would be worth all the skill credits to do it.

Just get some really good sliced armor and max out your health and action, helps tons.

Getting a pet to tank some of the damage is always a good idea. I have 2 probots that I cycle out when taking harder missions.

From what I understand a lot of the defenses ' defence against dizzy' etc seem to stack up. And the melee and ranged defence values seem to be added from the multiple skills you have. How much they make a difference I am unsure of, but they do seem to help a bit.

I am thinking of getting the 3rd line in pistoleer for this reason as they seem to have the best defenses againststates (blind, dizzy etc). Which to me seems strange would of thought TKA would of had the highest defensive values against the states as we encounter them a lot in melee fighting, and supposedly being more resiliant to melee damage.
