The last few weeks I've mostly been on Dantooine, so I've only really noticed these things there. But on my radar will be a white square. When I get to the white square, it's just a small black object (kind of a cylindrical shape) about the size of my hand. But I can do nothing to it, not even target it. Has anyone else seen these things?

sorry j/k. i know nothing about it. Maybe someone a little more helpful than myself will come along and tell you what it all means.

Somtimes when scout/rangers use traps, the little trap canisters that are thrown at mobs will remain in the game and not disappear for a while. If you have ever seen a trap in inventory it is the same thing sitting on the ground, and they do cause white squares to show up on radar. I'm not sure why it does this, but I've noticed it since the beginning while using traps.

Yep, I can verify that. For some reason ( Another "feature" of this game I guess ) traps that fail often leave a white mark on the radar, and a trap on the ground. The small black ones probably are Adhesive Mesh White thingies with stripes on it are Noise Makers. Been like this for some time now. Shouldnt be that hard to fix methinks....

Shoulda seen me grind through trapping 1-4 in 3 hours in a group north of Nyms Stronghold. I just tossed traps like there was no tomorrow ! 100's of them went dud and left white marks on the radar Was pretty fun standing at the shuttleport and overhearing people saying things like "Lok seems buggy, I get like white squares all over my radar" "Yeah, me too" "Stupid Devs" And so on...
