Medics the higher up the skill tree they go the less time between stim pack usage it is. Why doesnt this work for combat professons as well? Say you start as a novice brawler you start with the 30 seccond timer then as you work up the tree you start to lose the timer. until at master your timer is say 5 secconds insted of 30 secconds.

I do know that the 30 seccond timer is the TARGET is immune to knockdown but why isnt it just the player giving the knockdown? To me this idea seems to work out pretty well, and possable even better since they plan to fix the resists, making it harder for you to knockthem down. This makes since to me, any other ideas? lets get a brain storm going.

The reason the timer is target based is that the devs didn't want multiple attackers chain KDing a single target.

although he does make a good point. I'd like to see more "bonuses" for reaching master anything. I'm not saying dabblers are good or bad. But there should be more stuff for master status in a prof.

All right, but apart from the sanitation droids, bionic limbs, hyper-drive, moisture vaporators, galactic order, abolisment of slavery, star charts, the compact and efficient central government and interplanetary free trade, what has the Empire ever done?"

I agree with you there. I think that TKA does a pretty good job of this, but more in general would be nice. You should check out the bonuses you get for master commando. It leaves everyone scratching their heads as to why they'd bother.

An important part of this game is being able to mix and match different aspects of different professions, but the best skills and bounuses should be reserved for master.
