Thread: How Exactly does defense acuity effect counterattack/dodge/block?

hey, i a master swordsman and was just wondering how defense acuity effects my counter attack. Im trying to maxcounter attackout, and have picked up a box of carbineer counter attack so now it hits the cap, and also picked up master brawler for cob mods.
ive had the defense acuity tree and meditation tree of tka for a long time, but i was wondering how it actually effected it, since ive never seen counter attack with out it.

Teras Kasi's get kinda screwed in this aspect, because Denfensive Accuity is it's own thing, you can't stank anything to it. The only thing that your Carbineer Counter Attack mods will help is your Counter Attack while using a Carbine or a 2-Handed Weapon. If your using Unarmed it won't do anything. However, it caps at 125 and if you get enough of Carbineer it'll cap it when you use your 2-hand weapons, but unfortunatly Defensive Accuity has nothing to do with it. Also, make sure you make a looping Center of Being macro to really make the most of it.

Really! alright. well i guess id rather put my points into master brawler then. see i use my swords in pvp, and wanted all the counter attack i could get my hands on. i just wanna try it. i know the defense from teras kasi would probly make up for it, but still i wanna see how it goes.
was thinking that acuity would effect my counter attacking in a positive way for some reason. think i read it somewhere, but probly just another vague, bad dev explanation.
anyone else wanna seal this for me?
