I'm a novice TKM (i.e. I've done the grind but now want to play) and I'm wondering what combos are best to use when first engaging a single target ?
Do you run a macro with your favourite moves...
e.g.
/warcry;
/unarmed knockdown 1; (or is 2 better?)
/unarmed headhit 1 or combo 1 etc....
I've had good results from various moves but I'm looking for advice 'costhere's toomany moves to choose from
Don't worry about other skills or available armour, foodor drink... they're covered.
Just looking for advice on TKM moves please.

By my side, I try to debuff the target first : stun, blind, intimidate and dizzy if it's an humanoid npc, then I try to knock it down and use either unarmedhit<insert number>, body hit or leg hit, it depends which HAM pool is the lowest.

If i concentrate on a single target i always use knockdown first, sometimes i use dizzy too
if i am fighting multiple targets i often use spinattack
to finish a target faster iam using unarmedhit2
and to lower my HAM costs i dont always use my VK´s anymore

I'm a PvE Creature/NPC hunter and use the same sets of moves pretty much all the time in 'normal' situations. I don't use combo macros as I like to be able to alter my next move as I play, but here is what I would use in an ideal world if everything came off perfect, which it doesn't. Oh and I don't use VK's when I use specials, only when attacking normally unless I am buffed of course so I keep my VK on an F slot for quick use.
If I am attacking a single creature with something like 5000-9000 HAM I would use something like...
/UnarmedKnockdown2;/UnarmedHit3;/UnarmedHit3;/UnarmedHit3;/UnarmedStun1;(put on VK's)
Result :: Creature knocked down, hit with three strong attacks while down dealing more damage and applying a blind state, creature gets up while being stunned and at this point is about to leg it due to being battered to death, the lunge forces a posture change dealing damage and also preventing the creature from running at which point I would put on my VK. This creature is definately dead...
KD2's Dizzy or the Dizzy attack in conjunction with a normal KD only works on people not creatures, they do get the state applied but it doesn't do anything (hence I didn't mention it).. So If I were attacking an NPC in an ideal world it would probably be something like
/UnarmedKnockdown2;/UnarmedHit3;(until it managed to get up);/UnarmedStun1;/UnarmedLunge1;(put on VK's)
Result :: NPC knocked down and Dizzy, hit with powerfull attacks and blinded until they manage to stand up at which point in an ideal world they are still dizzy and get stunned, force a posture change with lunge and when they try to stand up they will begin to fall over again and you can finish the kill at your own pace.
And using those methods as well as powerboost and force of will I can pretty much kill anything I get my hands on in a PvE sense. Some creatures that wont work for as it wont for some NPC as resists, HAM and their own damage and special attacks I haven't even tried to take into consideration. Depending on the level of TKA you are you can replace the unarmedhit3 with whatever one you have and put a blind attack in aswell as a stun attack, and if you only have a normal KD tag a Dizzy with it immediately after they hit the deck, don't wait too long and don't use a macro if you are a low level TKA because you need to make sure the dizzy state and other states are applied correctly at the right times a macro could , and will , miss it...

My standard opening is against a single creature is:
Apply Stun and Blind
Knockdown (and dizzy if humanoid)
While down, as many UH2's as I can get in (2-3 usually, unless their dizzied).
When they get up, Beserk, then put on VKs, beat til dead, if they are really strong, I'll repeat from the KD stage, after the 30 sec or whatever.
Multiple Opponents:
Stun and Blind to one I'll attack frist
Unarmed Spin attack x2
then go on as normal, kd, uh2, berserk, vks, etc. Til main target is dead. If berserk wears off, I'll KD and UH2x2 again.
Then switch targets and repeat from begining.
