Allrighty then. I'm on a new server with a Wookiee brawler finally reaching unarmed 4 with less than 20k in liquid capital, no armor, no buff opportunities, and only my legs for travel.
Any tips that don't involve rectifying the armor / buffs situation?

grab a pistoleer, and a rifleman... go to Dathomir and grab Giant Baz Nitch Missions...
have the pistoleer stand directly behind you, and the rifleman to stand behind him (a doctor would be nice as well to heal you)
Tear the baz nitches apart, and get the xp... it will go very fast, and pay well.

Here is what I would do, (And do)...
Spend 10k on a good set of 3 hour doctor buffs (Yeah, I know its expensive, but you cant really beat it)
Head over to either Dath or Dant.... I would start with Dantooine Quinker missions -- These pay about 5.6k each -- so each circut of 2 missions you will make 11k credits, and should only take 15 minutes at the most per lair... not to mention the exp will be outstanding... If you find these are easy for you, you can move up to the Savage Quinker's.. these pay about 6-7k per mission.. (I believe it was 6.8 or 6.9k credits per mission).. once you get up in TK tree a bit, you will still run these missions, or the Dath Biz missions...
My current favorite is Yavin IV Angler/Kliknak missions...
I do this without armor on, and can easily make 200k per buff cycle.

That's what I keep reading. So I repeat: without access to buffs. I don't have a desire to kill everything I see withbrandy and doc buffs. I want to start the game, put on my VKs, and take out my frustrations. Running around the galaxy to dump my entire net worth into three hours of doc buffs and then playing twice as long as I usually do at a streach to get my money's worth does not fit into that at all.

Bolle bols on Naboo. I think it's like 6-8k $$, usual # of critters per lair. 3-4k xp per kill too. Easy enough that you can handle them unbuffed and unarmored, hard enough to give xp and feel likea challenge. And you will probably incap a couple of times, but since they're not aggressive and don't DB it's ok.

Try gurrcats on Correlia or maybe swarming dewbacks on tat. Swarming dewbacks give about 7-800 per kill not quenker level but doable without buffs and armor.

I had no access to buffs or brandy really when I got to TKN on test center. Without buffs, Naboo is probably your best bet hon. Sentry Hermit Spider lairs are wonderful(easy, low xp, but tons of them), Kaadu are great so long as you attack the males first, and even Gualama if you are careful.
What I'd recommend is just go west or NW of Theed then just run around and kill any of those three I mentioned that you come across. Just avoid NPCs, Spineflaps, and the Tuskcats and you'll be fine.
Bolle Bols are a bit too much without buffs and armor at your level though because they social and it will just take you too long to kill one before the rest get to you.

Now that the required 'why the hall arn't you taking advantage of everything to be uber instead of having fun' post has been delt with, thanks to the rest of you. I've found myself in a number of these positions allready, and my successes and failures have been most educational.
I have also learned never to go to Dantooine.

You are going to be very limited andmay be better off doing small missions at the terminal and save up for the buffs... They may be expensive to start but the faster you climb the trees the more damage output you have and can do higher level missions for more money.. Think of them as an investment.
You can do small missions without armor and buffs but you will spend more on Stims than if you just bought a set of buffs.
Thanks to Vasarian Brandy I am now the town drunk and ONLY go to the AA meetings to brag about the killing spree done during my drunken rage.

You can go to Endor and take crazed gurreck missions. They pay about 6k each. The crazed gurrecks are aggro and will db you but they are not social so you can pull them one at a time and kill them without buffs or food or spice. They are only about 5k HAM and very low kinetic resist with no armor so you should be able to kill a couple of them before having to rest and heal. Without buffs though you will have to be very careful staying away from all the other aggro mobs that will give you a serious asswhooping.
