Now, I recently became TK Novice and I'm quite pleased that I can start the grind.
But where should I go?
I can get buffed, which my health is over 3000+ but what about armor?
The new wookie armor isnt NEAR as good as most peoples composite and
how am I supposed to solo without it?

Would a 50% Kenetic really make that much difference?
Should I check out some certan place or start hunting differently.

-Thanks

Reroll as a human, or suck it up. Wookies are a joke, sorry you are just figuring that out now.

Yes, 50% kinetic is fine for PvE to level up. Since you plan on being buffed, you practically don't even need the armor, but if you wanna wear it it's good. When I go soloing anyway, I don't use my composite, just 70% ubese. The diff between 70% and 50% isn't that great, since most creatures that hit you only hit in the 300-400 range (120 vs 200 pts of damage, off of 3k stats...no big deal).

I don't agree to reroll as a human, but I do agree to (kindly) suck it up. Yes the armor does help, it might not be Ubese, but its better than nothing. Get buffed, down some brandy, and head to Dantooine for Quenker missions. Just be patient, the xp will come faster than you think. There is nothing better later on than hunting on Dathomir and soloing Enraged Rancor missions.

I agree completely with Laeren here

You have got to be sh!tting me! What is a wookiee to do? How about going out there and kicking some ass instead of sitting on yours and whinning?

Where should you go? Where cant you go? Even as a novice TKA with a decent buff you should be able tosolo just about anything that is not more than 50% kinetic resist.

What about armor? Who cares about armor? The only reason wookiees asked for armor is to help compete in PvP. Even though it is not some uber 90% resist armor 50% is better than nothing. And guess what? Tons of other wookiees including myself have grinded to master without armor at all and in less than a week.

How are you supposed to solo without armor? Here's a hint. If you cant solo something then find something else to kill or get some help by joining a group.

Would a 50% Kenetic really make that much difference? Lets see you were taking 100% now you are taking 50%. Guess what that means you are taking half the damage you were before. If that is not enough of a difference for you guess what you can even get a PSG and eat some synthsteak.

Should I check out some certain place or start hunting differently? The way you act maybe you should just kill meatlumps just outside the city until you grow a pair. Why are you even playing this game? Maybe you should go play a game where you can enter some uber cheat code to put your toon into god mode.

Sorry to be so blunt but OMFG your post was so rediculous that I had to vent a little.

In fact now that I think about it I am not really that sorry.

been a wookiee since launch. been around and thru the combat professions. You won't find a better match for a wookiee than tka, except maybe fencer.

either way, they will both greatly enhance your survival rate.

match that wookiee armor with an imperial psg, and you can tank a giant canyon krayt with minimal heals.

see some of the other threads about grinding tka, i've left some nice recommendations for how to grind it. These were all developed on a wookiee tka

The dev team would never allow any kind of imbalance so that one group of people would "cut swaths" through crowds of people.

As I ahve said soem armor is better than no armor. If I was getting shot at with a blaster I would rather have a dish tray gaurding em than my own clothes...
