It wasn't found off a nightsister corpse. I found it on Lok from a Canyon Corsair npc. I don't know the exact npc because I gunned down a whole group and quickly looted them all without paying attention about what was looted from what

You'll notice that 99% of all dot weapons found arn't worth keeping, and then 99% of those arn't good for ANYTHIGN except aplying the DOT and switching to a different weapon.
There have ALWAYS been dot Vibro Nucklers....but think of it like this...
Off the top of my head there are like 6 polearm weapons...6 swordsman weapons, 6 fencer weapons, a crap load more ranged weapons, and heavy weapons.
Maybe 50 weapon types overall.
We know that Nightsisters are prone to dropping polearms. Janta and mokks drop knives and staffs. Tuskan raiders drop tuskan rifles and the gaffi stick. Erran Sif drops pistols.
These NPCs are predisposed to dropping one type of weapon.
Most types of NPCs however are not predisposed to drop one kind of weapon, and may drop any one from a range of random weapons.
But dropping them is very rare. not only that, but the odds that when this does ahppen that the weapon will be a VK instead of the other 50 weapon types are very slim.
