Thread: 765 PvP Damage w/ VK's. Legit, or exploit?

I was stunned to see myself getting pounded for 765+ by a TKM. I am a TKM myself, and I've never seen anything close to that kinda dmg even with power-ups and dmg sliced VK's. Is this legit, or is it an exploit?

Definetly not legit, not in PVP anyways. Other than Unarmored, Unbuffed, or 0% Condtion on Suit Peices, but even then you wouldn't hit for 700+ i don't think, i dunno ask a math guy, he'll calculate it for you.

Yea im suspicious that this guys got some Razor Knucklers or something like that thats been yanked from the game. I'll post some screenshots of the combat log when my server comes back up. *curses Corbantis*

hehe yah, same here, (stupid corbantis)i managed to drop my harvester on a 98% resource concentration before it happened tho. 
In response the the razor knuckler, report him, those VK's are not supposed to be in the game.
Trust me i saved up over 20+ nightsister vibro units just to have the razor knucklers yanked from me the last second (real kick in the balls). They said they were removed due to balance issues, and ppl found a way to exploit them. Some schematics go through to live though, i knew about 1 schematic on Corbantis, and saw several others on sale on the trade forums of other galaxies. Either those Vk's were bypassing armor resis, PVP damage, or are so freaking crazy dmg wise that they must have a mean max dmg on them in order to hit that much in pvp (or whatever the multiplier is 75% reduction right?). (also depends on the special he/she used so it could've been less than 1000) Unless those Vk's are legendary, there's no way i can think of that can get you 700+dmg pvp. wise, especially armored.

hehe notice how corbantis ppl are the only ones responding, man great time for a server dump.
If he says he saw the new VK's i mean you can't argue w/ that would've been nice if he had taken screenshots of him w/ it or consult a CSR about the combat logs.
I think i hit for 800, back in like september tho,

Naw, I havent seen 'em. I'm just speculating. If I do see them, I garauntee youI'll have screenshots.

maybe he has a legit exceptional or legendary VK drop ,i know with my exceptional t21 i can do and have done 1900 mind damage in a hit with head shot 3 in pvp ,but thats also armour pirce heavey, he might have a loot drop VK of great power *shrug*

What attack was he using on you and were you armored? If you were not armored, then yes, it might be possible with the following:
1) 250+ damage vk
2) a good power up
3) Good Burnout Sauce
4) They were using Unarmed combo 1 or 2 which bypasses all defenses but Armor and the PvP reduction.
