Thread: How long does power boost last, also how long does it lower your stats when its done?

first off there is no "downer" at the end. when you are meditating and you use it your mind gose down by half your mind pool (unbuffed) then slowly begines rising back to normal. as your mind goes up your health and action go up as well, 'till your mind gets back to normal. then it jumps to 3/2 it's normal. that is to say, if you have 1000 mind and you use PB, your mind will go down by 500, then it will start going back up. as soon as it gets to 1000 it will jump to 1500. now assuming you had 1000 health and action, you would then have 1500 health and action also. PN lasts for about 10 minutes. (less time before you get master, but I'm not sure anymore how long it is) and you can use it again as soon as it has worn off.

it raises your primary stats by whatever your mind is divided by 2.
it takes about 45 seconds to PB at master
it lasts 10 minutes from the time the PB finishes.
with doctor buff so prevelant its a waste of time for the most part.

if you have a mind buffactive say taking you to 1000 then will you get a 500 boost?

it does not take your buffed state into account. so if your mind is 1000 and you get a dancer buff making it 2000 and drink a 400 point brandy it will still only be a 500 point increase. might actually be a useful skill if it went off the buffed state

Im a novice tka all im intrested in tka is meditate, but im woundering if its worth it just 4 that. Im just woundering how long does power boost last, and how long does it make ur stats bad when its over, and how long till u can use it again?

Granted the FAQ for TKA seems a bit out of date (5K for doctor buffs and Fishak and Ormacheck as viable mind food). But, the FAQ states that it DOES take into account your buffed state. Was the FAQ right at one time but, wrong now(pre-publish 7)? Was it always wrong? Or DOES PB take into account your buffed state?

PB used to take mind buffs into account, but the devs changed that. They probably thought it was a bit overpowering for people to add 1000-1500 to their already 2.5-3k buffs

I dont find it a waste of time to have another 550 points of health and action..
every little bit helps.. I just wish it would do the secondaries too
