I've done TKA with a few combos..

And always the tactics are the same.

If you are a TKA and a very active PVPer (I am in a PA which does PA wars all the time..well..did, now SWG has PA wars turned off =( ) you need to use the walls of the city to your advantage.

Hide in buildings if you must. Otherwise just keep close to walls. This is a "ghetto-fix" to the imbalances of Ranged vs Melee

I agree that it is quite stupid how people can kite so incredibly easy, but until the corresspondants get some feedback about it we might as well just come up with some sort of alternative.Range and speed should be decreased if someone is running backward with a gun, but until they fix that heres a few tactics, common or not, that may come in use.

1. If you are in a city and get attacked by a gun user, run into the closest building and wait for them to come in after you so you can bust out the knockdown.

2. Dont put on the VKs until you know youll hit with them, put them on your quickbar so that you can lunge, then bust out the vks and slap em around.

3. Dizzy is very useful against kiters, far more useful than knockdown. I suggest that if you do get the chance for 1 hit before you get kited, you use dizzy. This will greatly decrease their accuracy and could make them lose posture or fall down, giving you more time to get to cover.

4. Disguise yourself as agun user, go around with a gun until you know you will hit your target, thenlunge and bust out the VKs. Usually people are much more cautious about attacking ranged players, if they see a melee weapon in sight, they shoot.

5. Get to at least specialist in 1 or more gun professions. I personally went rifleman for the mad dizzy and damage with Flurry Shot 2, plus it hits multiple targets. Flurry shot 2, run in, bust some faces.
