I just got this "special" move. I figure I would try it out in my camp to see what it does. I see my stats go up for a very short time. There was no wow factor. Just something nifty for a few seconds. Then I see I took:

350 unhealable mind wound damage !!!!!!!!

What kind of a joke is this? When would I ever want to take such massive and permanent damage to myself for such a short term and unimpressivebenefit? Why should I? What other class takes such an unthinkable penalty for a special move of any kind, much less a gimpy little move like this one.

Am I missing something? Had I been in battle would the mob have surrendered, given me its exp and loot, and massaged my toes? If it weren't for the fact that I want to master TKA, I would surrender this skill to make sure I never use this again accidently.

Use powerboost and at the same time watch an entertainer, works wonders

Yeah, except by the time the entertainer's healed your wounds, your power boost is gone. Power Boost IS worthless as it currently stands.

But the entertainers LOVE you!

Yep, Power Boost is one of the most useless abilities in the game, especially given the fact that spice/doctor buffs are so readily available. My personal opinion is that this abilitiy should be improved by increasing the now marginal 'boost' it supposedly provides,and making the damage you take be applied to Health and/or Action, not Mind.

Any severemind-damaging ability is going to be seen asuseless in the eyes of any sensible TKA player. It almost makes you wonder what the so-called TKA designer was thinking/smoking when he put this one together.

Powerboost is, as was stated, only good for making entertainers like you (it's great for picking up a date at the local cantina). It absolutely, positively, no doubt in my mind, NEEDS to be changed...somehow...anyhow...it doesn't matter how, just something different. Make it last longer...(a LOT longer) or make it some kind of instant heal that can be usedat anytime, ie: power boost during a fight and heal 500 health/action at a cost of the mental wounding. Since most players in pvp target mind anyway there should be no issue there, and it would help in our pve.

Whatever happens I hope it happens soon, because as it stands it's pointless.

although when i hit master many weeks back, i used it to test my meditation healing and since then the game wont let me use it ever..ohh well nothing to cry about sinc its a useless skill....until they fix this ability i dont think ill waste a ticket and report that i cant use it
