My husband is working towards TKA. This has made grouping difficult as he does about 1/4 the damage I do (I'm working towards fencer, currently use a Ryyk blade) and much less than our ranged companions. Right now we're both working on level IV of the required branch in brawler. I'm just wondering, for someone who is going to group with a mix of classes is it worth the bother? Ie. will the balance ever get better? Given how exp is divided he's going to rapidly fall behind and he's frustrated to the point of giving up =)

Once your husband gets TK Novice and a set of Vibroknuckles the story will be different. He will then take 60-80% of the Exp!

I frequently group with a Commando, Combat Medic, Smuggler, and Fencer and take nearly ALL the experience.

Tell your husband to hang in there. Maybe let him solo the lair itself (nest, not enemies)for full unarmed exp from it. That will help.

Who will group with you? Well any healer LOVES melee guys because they can get about 30K medical experience in a few hours, and the ranged guys love you because you keep the creatures away from them!
