Thread: does adv meditate heal wounds?
It does, and quickly, too.

just to disagree - with adv med I've watched my wounds heal themselves. Mind you its not quick and I haven't tried to find out how long it takes to happen, but it does happen.
That said, it doesn't keep me out of med centers. I view it like a random heal that occurs every now & then.
can anyone tell me what meditate is useful for at lower levels then?

Lvl1=Faster Bleeding, Poison
Lvl2=Much Faster Bleeding, Faster Poison, Disease
Lvl3=Much Faster Bleeding, Much Faster Poison, Faster Disease
Lvl4=Much Faster Bleeding, Much Faster Poison, Much Faster Disease, Slow Wound Healing
TkM=Much Faster Bleeding, Much Faster Poison, Much Faster Disease, Faster Wound Healing
I am a TKA 1, 4, 4, 3 and can confirm that at skill level 1 meditate can cure wounds.
I was on Endor meditating at our camp waiting for the rest of the PA to show up for a raid and my wounds went away. It took a long time, but it worked.
Yes, it heals wounds, doesn't matter where you are, and it heals them fast too. A master doctor is hard pressed to keep up with a master tka's healing rate, and it heals mental wounds too, which doctors can't do. The only thing it doesn't do is remove BF. And as was said before, it does this at meditation 4 and master tka ranks, anything less does not heal wounds, period.

Actually, you were healing because you were in a camp - a camp or medical centre will slowly heal all of your wounds - they drop off in 'ticks' of ten wounds from every pool at once, every now and then (5-10 minutes? Not sure).
I've seen some screens of Meditation's wound-healing effects (no, I don't have it yet) and if it's kicking in you'll see a string of text indicating the heal, beginning with "[Meditation]". Apparently it's pretty quick too, I'm looking forward to this one =)
Just to clarify, you will know when its working because you get a system message telling you its happening.
