I am fairly clueless when it comes to sockets in clothing and how to take best advantage of them.

I would like to hear your thoughts on how you would configure the ideal TKA socketed fighting outfit.

I'm pretty sure right now that skill enhancing attachments are completely borked, so your question is a moot issue.

I hope it gets fixed soon, since before the attachments stopped dropping I picked up a couple unarmed toughness, ranged defense,and unarmed damageattachments

Skill enhancing attachments seem to be working now. They actually show up in the "My Character Screen".

I used to wear clothes that had a total of 9 sockets. The problem was finding tapes to put in them.

I wear a sunhat now that has a +2 dodge, but it doesn't show up in my skill pane.

I have about 20 of the skill tapes for clothing, and 30-40 of the plates for armour. Do the ones witha - before the number actually have a negative effect on the skill or ability in question?

are these even dropping anymore? havent seen any. If by chance they are, any hints on where or what to kill to find them?

Usually dropped by humanoid NPCs, the higher the NPC, the better the ones they tend to drop, when they drop any at all.

I haven't seen a skill tape drop for over a month. Killing alot of rebels too.

Loot seems to be borked. Nothing seems to be dropping let alone tapes.

I think that they might have taken them out because BE are supposed to able to make some. So we might see them decrease is potency at least. Till the Bio Eng start putting them out there for general consumption. Again the only one though I got from my friendly BE was amedical use for my medic.
