I am becoming a Teras Kasi Artist because aside from bounty hunter (which I am currently bored with) TKA's have alot of history. They interest me more than say, chef. I have every intention of playing TKA as a TKA not a badazz d00d to get m4d l00t. I dont understand why people in professions who have themselves established in that profession dont want new people to get into it. I say knock it off. I will be a regular visitor to this forum because it deals with *MY* new profession. If you dont like the fact that I am joining this profession, tough. I am sorry to post such a rough post on someone else's post, but I thought I would cut down on the number of posts on this subject. PM me if you have a problem.

i think alot of us established TK mastersyou are talking about are concerned with 2 things

1) growing populations in class's usualy results in nerfs. We dont want TK nerfed as much as the guy who just started grinding the levels out, but based on sonys passed track record they look at balance by whos playing what class. thats why you can bet your rosey little pucker that they wont be nerfing pikemen anytime soon, or ever.

2) we are concerned with dablers. A dabler is basicly an exploiter. whether you think exploiting is wrong or not is another debate. alot of people view exploiting the same as dabling. One the the main reasons BH and CH are getting the nerf bat is because of dablers, so its a concern we watch closely. Also dablers devalue the worth of the master title, because the game as it is right now supports dablers more then a master, and thus bothers alot of masters not just in TK but in alot of proffessions.

Our concerns are deffintly not TK only, but they are tk related.

anyways i love to see new TKs because i think its a fun class, and im sure people who play it will love it as much as me, and have a blast playing it, but that being said those 2 above concerns still linger in my mind, as well as others who read these forums, and those who do not.

I noticed a lot of concern about why everyone seems to becoming a TKA now, so i figured I'd give you my reasons. Simply put, Im tired of grinding.I am the Master Armorsmith Xandra on Tempest. I run the guild ImpCo and make a good amount of scratch. But when it came to combat I ws horrible. The first time I went to LOK the **edit** NPC's killed me as soon as i walked off the plane. I went out one day with another player who while not a master is a TKA and was mazed to see waht he can do. I decided to try it and have sicne loved it. I gave up all my marksmen skills to become a brawler and plan on sticking to it. Even with unarmed 2 i can actually fight!!! So the reason I became a TKA is that I love the moves and how my little twil'lik can hold her own.

JediAce13,

I don't think you need to come here and post your justification for going the TK route. The fact that you pay your subscription fee and have free choice is reason enough for you to go whatever route you want.

Unfortunately there are a few people that post on this board who think one can only become a Teras Kasi if one meets their justification. If a person is not exploiting, griefing or generally being an arse in this game then I will always have time for them.

Personally, if you want to become a full Teras Kasi Master or only partake in only part of the skillset I hold no judgementof you either way. You are working within the parameters defined by the game and if the so-called 'purists' don't like, tough fecal matter for them.

Welcome fellow Teras Kasi.
