I was just wondering what methods can be used to keep aggro on your tanking pet while you are in such close range to your target, I usually end up taking a dirt nap.

Thats easy. Make sure your pet attacks first. Let it hit the target before you do. And if you are unarmed, no knucks, stay atleast 6 meters away. If you have knucks, stay as far as possible, since the 5 meter thing doesn't seem to be working...still. It's easier w/o knucks to keep the aggro's on your pets. But if you're not a TKM I'd assume you still are using knucks.

Stay at the edge of 4 meters with the VKs equipped or 5 bare handed. Careful with the specials as this will sometimes cause them to aggro you. I find that if I'm at the edge of 4 meters I have little trouble. If you find yourself in some trouble just use a KD/Warcry and back away while peacing - repeat.

Thanks alot for the advice, I will try it out next time I am on. I have been doing the pet first thing all along with ranged, it definitely is required, but hadn't thought of keeping max range since UA range seems so short compared to my guns
I have had my pets run back to me and get aggro off the critters, even when I would stop attacking if I saw it coming. It must be because when it ran over me it got closer to me than my pets.
Thanks again,
