2handed sword that hits for 1.5-2k dmg ever 1.7 sec

What two handed sword and style is swinging at 1.7 secs? At the levels you spoke of I can't recall anything moving that fast.

Well the damage u are doin is s low because u are at such a low level of TKA. A TK master can do 400-500 DPS with VKs on and no specials.

As of right now, I as a TKM slaughter all of the other melee classes

i have a curved sword with 85-254 dmg with 1.7 attack speed i can hit master swordsman in a few days easy with it thats why i think unarmed is so under rated for 4th skill up it should have something to build up on

The unarmed damage curve is totally different than the other melee profession. The other melee professions' damage is built into their weapon. They only increase damage through specials. Using regular attacks on individual swing a fencer/swordsman/etc. will do the same whether they are master or not. TKA's damage curve is built into the character. As a TKA level up the damage starts going sky high.

still that is so stupid think about it i am able to solo a plains hunter at 3rd skill up in 2handed sword and i can't do jack to it with unarmed be lucky to even make it break a sweat

I don't think it's stupid. At higher levels, TKA do damage with their bare fist that would make your average 2h swordsman cry. I regularly PvE with a swordsman friend. I outdamage him every single time.

PvE with me is watching this flail of arms and legs and then there's this dead mob ... it's fairly interesting to watch.

yes i understand that but come on at least give us a weapon or something for a low level unarmed to work with even if it's only a bit of speed cuz the knucks take away a % of damage when using them just the speed is all i really wanted from them or cut the exp use for tka by atleast 10% who wants to grind 125k exp in unarmed with only 200 damage max the whole way even if it is well worth it at the end it is hard for me to even give up unarmed 4 cuz of the low dmg of grinding it

It took me 6 hours to get 125k for TKA Novice solo. If you can't do it in 6, you're doing something wrong.

well i been killing stuff like rebals with 3-5k hams and getting around 1-2k exp but thats with the help of a pet and it seems like it's just not fair that i can pull out a sword and kill it 10 times faster and get 3-4k exp per kill on something with a sword

I beat down fambaas for my TKA novice XP.

if you know a better way to get past unarmed 3 to 4 a lil faster please let me know cuz i miss the old tka skill i gave up cuz i was to busy trying to grind stupid rifleman

It's not THAT hard to get TKA Novice, I don't understand why everyone complains about it. If you want to have it easy from the get-go pick up a pistol
Beisides, if we get to many TKA's everyone will cry nerf, so it's good it's harder to get then other skills

Think of it as a Rite of passage. To become the once feared Teras Kasi you must have patience. The class is very much in the tradition of the old Shaolin monks, where someone who wanted to be taught Shaolin he would have to sit still for days on end, just to wait for the Master to begin his training. The other brawler professions use a weapon for their power, while the tka become a weapon by using their power.
