Thread: What to expect as a Human TKM with a Mind Template (Quite interesting..)
Well you can actually do this now I'll get to why it makes a big difference in the next patch.
Currently I was thinking of migrating my 1000/1000/650 HAM to 775/775/1100. You might ask why?
Okay welll lets assume with other buffs aside. A powerboost will give you 1325/1325/1650. Thats cool. Add hm, an average master doc buff is 2000 for the benefit of the doubt ( I know people have gotten a lot more just work with me here) Thats 3325/3325/1650. Great buff. I'm not sure what you can do with food in terms of primray bars but if you can add there or use neutron pixue im sure your eyes are bulging already. I'm not gonna address those here because Im not clear on how those work (food/spice)
Different scenario, same bar 775/775/1100. I get a dancer 2000 mind buff. 3100 mind. I power boost. 2325/2325/3100. Avg 2000 doc buff. 5325/5325/3100.
Thats ALREADY "Nuff said" material right there. Now go read my *FINAL* UPDATE thread and look at all the new mods.
Still think TK suck?
(I know the 10m fudge factor isnt fixed yet but by golly thats some pretty crazy stuff wouldnt you say)
Forgot to add the +1550 from Power Boost to Mind as well .
Final buff would be (with 775/775/1100 starting)
5325/5325/4650.

(Is this to good to be true, did I screw up? correct me if im wrong
)
A Dancer like a Musician give you their mindbuff skill in %.
so dancer with with skill 100 will give you +100% Mind and a Musician give you +100% to Focus and Willpower.
A master Dancer without skill enhancers would bring you from your 1100 Mind to 2200 Mind and NOT give you 2000 Mind.
So 2200 Mind with Dancer buff +500 Muongold gives 2700 Mind when you use Powerboost you get 1350 to Health/Action/Mind. This brings you to 4050 Mind in your example.

main reason why i rerolled as a human.
1100/800/1100 in mind/focus/will is hard to beat. Add to that the dancer's mind pool boost, musician focus/willpower boost, and power boost. Well, you know the rest.
Steegee,
I was interested in your mind stats of 1100 800 1100.
My own are at 1000 1000 1000. Do you see any major benefit of having 800 1100 on the substats? One is ham cost for specials and the other is regen rate and I'm always looking for new information that will mitigate ( as much as possible ) the self-mutiliation to my mind pool through the use of specials.
good question, but i haven't had the chance to try your stat setup to really know the difference. I can tell you why i choice 1100/800/1100 though. As i see it you must have the max for mind pool, you get more bang for you buck there. The more points in mind the better you power boost, the more you get out of dancer's buffs, and the more damage you can take. Now the 800 is the cost for specials, and i the 1100 is the regen. Now in a fight the numbers of how many specials will be different, sometimes i need more moves, sometimes less. But 800 seems to be a good round number, and have a regen rate better than any Zabrak is very, very nice.
What i plan to do is test the 800/1100 vs 1100/800 and see what's the best. But if my theory is correct, a higher regen will be better than a lower cost while working from a larger mind pool. Think of it as a bucket of water being the mind pool, the hose is the regen, and the cup in your hand is the cost of a special. If the mind pool is great enough, and the regen is great enough, the cost will be hardly noticable if at all. Another nice thing bout having high regen is that this is really the only "defense" against mind attacks. Getting a bleed on the mind pool doesn't hurt as much if i can regen mind fast enough to handle the bleed, but having high focus won't help my bleed at all. See what i mean?
So the way i see it;
-mind pool, if you are a serious pvp, must be at max. No reason not to if you have doc buffs. With the new use of power boost taking half you mind and adding it, the more mind the better, flat out.
-Focus is just good for lower specials, which can be done with a powerup if need be. I consider a 35 cost heal more than enough (that's what it cost me at 800, use a stim D.. awesome)
-Willpower is the 2nd most important stat in my opinion. Not only regens faster, but give a sort of defense against damage. If i can get to the sniper and hit him with blind, i can probably regen the mind damage he does to me from the 1 hit out of 6 misses as he tries to kite me. More regen, less down time.
then again this is just my thoughts, i haven't tried the other side so i don't know how green the grass is there.

I don't bother with focus/quickness/strength. That's what breath of heaven is for ![]()
Ummm...is it just me or is 2325 plus a 2000 buff not 4325...
That aside, I'm doing something similar but I am Zabrak and not Human.
Yep,
As most TK find out, mind is the weakest of their stats, because buffing is more difficult and shorter term than the other buff. That's why I migrated my health and action stats and sub-stats to their minimum ( 400 ) and put mind, focus and willpower to 1000.
I did some PvP last night and was sitting with about 4700 Mind at one point.
