Hi all, I was wondering what is the general consensus regarding armorfor TKA's? Iam a TKA/Ranger/Novice Medic, so I don't figure pets in or ranged weapons. Thank you in advance

In real life, if you knew you were going to be clawed, kicked, punched, shot and stabbed, would you wear a suit of armor?

Hopefully you'd avoid the situation all together, but since you're obviously masochistic enough to be a Teras Kasi Artist, it's going to happen.

I strongly recommend the use of armor. It is not unwise to have one set of armor for Normal PvE and one set for General PvP. A set of Ubese with extremely high Kinetic resist and very low HAM costs is a wise option for XP searching. For PvP, I recommend well-rounded Composite that has atleast some protection against Stun.

I happen to be capable of Self-Buffing through Doctor, enhancing Focus through Novice Smuggler, and getting Mind Buffs from my Master Musician in-game wife... so wearing armor for me is simple, and does not hurt my specials cost and regen rates like it would hurt normal folks.

Either way, at the very least, a suit of Mabari with solid Kinetic resists and extremely low HAM costs is a bare minimum, in my opinion.

If you only wear one piece of armor, make sure it's a Helmet.
