I am a TKE 2-2-4-2 and was wondering what is a good armor to use, right now I use no armor or weapon and can solo Darktroopers, storntroopers, fambaa, tuskens, etc. (all one at a time, if they argo I am screwed). Is there a good type of armor to use in PvE?

Advanced Ubese can have protection of around 70% for kinetic. It's good for creature fights. If you want to do some NPC fighting then you'll want to get yourself a good low encumb set of composite and try to get an encumb slice. I can wear a ubese set w/o any problem as a zabrak, and I can almost wear a full set of my composite, no buffs.

I am a transdoshan so I dont have to worry about gloves and boots which helps on the encumberance. I will have to try it out. I have a good set of composite made for PvP, triple acid layer in the helmet and chest. I may try that out and see how that fairs.

I'm always perma-buffed so I usually never wear wear armor for PvE. Though the advanced ubese makes alot of sense and seems to be the favorite among alot of people. For PvP it's a bit more tricky...During the huge BH/pistoleer craze all I ever seemed to need was a high resist helmet and chest (in the 80-90%) range. Now though alot of other classes are beginning to take form and stun weapons are becoming the choice of weapon to avid PvPer's. This is because almost every piece of composite armor out there is vulnerable to stun damage...so that half a million you spent on your nice composite set is worthless. I'm not going to order another full set until someone can get more than 30% stun resist layered into composite. Or hopefully if they make faction armor and/or offer some rare quest armor that help with stun damage.

What classes deliver stun damage?

Thanks I never play much PvP with my TKA character, the one time I did they other TKA beat me twice and told me he was just 4-0-0-0 and I lost being 1-2-3-2. I knew he had lied because of the knockdown move anddecided not to PvP becuase of guys like that. The composite I have is for my BH/Pistoleer but once again getting killed with the best stuff I gave up PvP( I just suck at PvP). So I targeted Stormtroopers, DarkTroopers, Squils and any other high xp creatures. I just want to be able to handle mobs a bit better then having to run off, I do not play in groups much so I became a master medic and TKA.

i know that fencers have stun damage weapons

Fencers - stun baton

Pistol classes - tangle pistol

And the mother of all stun damage: Riflemen - jawa ion rifle

For PvMonsters, advanced Ubese is fantastic... you can't special as often wearing it, but you'll hold out alot longer. For faction missions etc keep a set of kinetic composite in a droidso you can just switch out to do those missions.

Basically what I'm saying is for every day fighting, just get ubese... even faction missions the ubese will generally knock off about 70% of the damage you would've taken due to the ap1 and 15% or so energy protection.

Teh Armor i used is just insane. i'll list off the stats, and no its one of a kind unqiue, dont exspect to ever get your hands on it =P
