I'm sure this has been asked before, but I don't like the search function on these forums. I was wondering what defensive acuity does? Also, I know CoB is broken for TKA, but what is it supposed to do if it was working?

defense acuity raises your chance of a succesful dodge/counter-attack/block but since tka don't have any of those skills it doesn't work.

As for CoB, from what i can understand, is broken. It is supposed to do same as defense acuity but much better and only for a limited time.

no i believe that defense acuity is tka's ability to do all of this, since we get none of these skills, unlike the other melee classes. like swordsman use cob, they counter attack like crazy. but since we don't have any of this, defense acuity lets us do any of these counters. its just that........it doesn't do it.

So if you had dodge bonuses from pistoleer or fencer, would the defensive acuity boost your chances to dodge? (or counterattack, or block, or whatever bonuses apply to you)

I assume they intend to fix this? Seems pretty silly to put these into the game and overlook that they boost abilities that the TKA doesn't have.

defensive acuity would not help you dodge because you only use your dodging ability if you have a pistol orone handed weapon equiped. SO essentialy yes, defensive acuity is useless because nothing carries over except general defenses
