Thread: The most posts In a row from a correspondent
perhaps he was wrong in posting his opinion on something in the general discussion forum. perhaps not. that's not really what matters here. what matters is that he's being torn a new one by tons of angry tk's and he's standing up for himself.
why shouldn't he?
he is not an employee of sony. he's not being paid to do the correspondant job. he is a player. he pays to play this game just like everyone else. he has volunteered his time to correspond between the developers and the population of the brawler profession. his job consists of taking the voice of the players, condensing it into neat little reports, and submitting them.
still, this is precisely the reason why he shouldn't have posted his opinion in the first place. it doesn't matter which correspondant it is, or what profession they are talking about. all that matters is that a correspondant was discussing a profession that is not their own. if it was the musican correspondant posting that he thought the image designer profession was lame and filled with exploits, then that would have opened up a similar can of worms. this is why you don't see mr.heavy posting on that thread. he's smart. he knows that posting there will not solve anything. it will only create more problems. the player base just cannot handle opinions from correspondants. they forget that the correspondants are just player volunteers and have just as much right to an opinion as everyone else. it's really sad, but that's just the state of things
ugh. what a tough read. sorry my thoughts are just mush right now. it's been a very long boring day at my job, and i am just kind of 1/2-arsing here (not taking time to form good, easy to read arguments and just spattering my thoughts ont he screen. as evidenced here) oh well, if you get the idea of what i'm yammering on about, cheers. if not, sorry
well considering that we have to work up brawler to get TK, he is in part our corespondant as well, and to think he doesn't have TKs best interst at heart is why people get pissed off.
i can see marksman corespondant, or BH corespondant complaining, but our own?
i know Mr. Heavy is a comando as well as a tk. Once me and him got into a few arguments about comando on these very boards. When he was given the corespondant position for TK, his opinions thankfully were left to himself on this subject, and he has done ONE HELL OF A JOB FOR US
give him your thanks, because our corespondant unlike alot of others, is aucutaly doing his job, and doing it extremly well.

i first had my doubts about him taking over thunderwulfs spot, but man, he has filled those shoes well, and we should be proud.
All good replies. I just felt sickened. I don't give his arguments more weight that any other.
As for fighting, and balance a master swordsman with cob was able to defeat me, it went back and forth, I am not totally sure the last fight where we agreed anything goes was exactly fair, being that she had 2 pets armour, and action buffed, possibly some 2ndary buffs.
But my kd failed, and I got hit with a pretty heavy bleed, she also accepted first.
Who knows, but i got owned that last fight. So kudos to the master swordsman.
And I might just suck.
Its strange that the most posts I have read from any correspondent, Though I havent been digging, just happen to be the brawler correspondent trying vainly to defend himself, on the TKA board.
Lock this thread, one star it, delete it. But that guy doesnt deserve correspondent, and barring that, even having his job, he needs to address brawler issues, not elite melee class issues.
Thats my opinion. But it makes me sick reading his posts.
