I plan on being a master TKA and going up the defensive trees of fencer pikeman and swordsman. My question is will all those defense attributes stack or do i have to be using a sword/pike in order for the defenses to apply?

If you are talking about the toughness lines then the answer is "No." you have be unarmed for unarmed toughness and likewise for the other classes. However, all melee defenses and ranged defenses stack between classes.

what about defense vs dizzy/knockdown etc.. and dodge will those stack?

Ive been running around the forums looking for the answer to that.

A couple of the corospondants have been saying that doge/parry/bock/accuity do NOT stack, but melee/ranged defence do.

I plan on testing that personaly tonight.

Log 15 minuits or so of being beat on but a cople mobs with a low damage 1h weapon (level 4 in dodge line)

Then log 15 min or so with a carbine equiped (if i can survive that long).

If the mods are attached to a weapon I will be VERY dissapointed. No where in the description is it mentioned that the abilities are tied to a weapon. In fact it is implyed that they are not tied to a weapon. Abilityes that are tied to weapons have the weapon type in the name.

The way I figure it if all those defenses did stack I would be a better tank than the vast majority of pets out there. That'd be neato

I'm still working on novice tera kasi so i have a long way to go before i even test this but lets hope it works

Yes, the Defense vs XXXXX ones do stack.
