Thread: Bleed and TKM

Hi all,
sometimes, while spamming specials, my enemy begins to bleed....
First I thought it was someone else who landed the bleed, but it happens, once in a while, when I'm out hunting alone.
Maybe it's a combo (didn't figure out which one..)
Does someone else have this same helpfull side effect, and do U know which combo to take?
I use 'normal' crafted and sliced VK's so it's not that they can help to land the bleed either...
Any help or comments appreciated.

I think its unarmed hit 3 mixed with maybe knockdown, cause if you notice unarmed hit 3 usally makes your enemy blind and sometimes ive noticed that if mt enemy dosent end up blind they mind might end up bleeding, so i would guess its a random affect of unarmed hit 3.

Yeah it seems to happen when your spamming any special really.. Nothing to powerful though.

Yeah, I am only a Novice TKA - 0/0/1/0, however when I spam UH1 it seems I get a bleed on my target anywhere from 15-90 damage a click. Big damage, I know.

It's happened to me several times while fighting Crazed Gurrecks on Endor... seems to happen when you knockdown, and get a really high roll... will not happen all the time, but knockdown+unarmed attack 2 that gives somewhere in the +2000 point damage to mind... will lead to a bleed.
When it happens I just consider it an "exceptional" hit... just busted his lip thats all.
Doesnt matter really, because after the 4th special, the cat is goin down anyway

unarmed 3 is also a blinding attack, so thats why that happens, and the bleed is because of you knuckler, well any weapon, with a high wound chance will make some one bleed

Been ignoring this waiting for an answer but...
Mobs/Players bleed at times when you "Wound" them. Normally it will only add a 1-2 damage bleed but in PvP can save you a couple of seconds whilst they try first aid it. Nothing realy to bother about though.

Ya had it when I used my flame2 as well with master commando sometimes. Always figured it was a bug.

I just hit TKM, only ever happened once to me. I believe it was Unarmed Hit 2 against a KD/dizzied stormtrooper. It confused me, I didn't see any mention of it in the combat log.

Bleeds are caused by damage to the secondary stats. All weapons can cause a bleed, because of the wounds inflicted during battle. The higher the wound percentage on a weapon, the quicker the secondaries are damaged during attack, thus causing a bleed. Actually DOTS work in much the same way. That's why they seem week, DOT attacks are actually splitting they're damage between the primary and secondary pools.
