Ok, I have been wondering this for a while, I thought I knew the answer, but when everyone thought VK's were good when they had speed of like 2.2 and dmg of like 50-150 I wasn't sure of what I thought anymore. Ok, my question is, is it better to have lower, or higher attack speed? Lower right?

Oh yeah, and which kind of cloths should I pick to wear as a TKA, I usually wear armor, but I hate to have to wait like 15 minutes to getmy HAM to regen.

Are you TKM? If not go with the lower speeds. After master it won't matter to much. Clothes you'll want any melee mod ones you can find.A good tailor shop or BE clothes shop will have a good selection. Most are defence types.There are others for melee but I can't recall all the ones I have. I also look for tapes or armor attachments when I can they cangive you offence and defence mods depending on there stats.

TK don't really have to worry about VK speed. Once you get over 100 (115 at master)speed you hit the 1 second cap with all specials automatically.

The HAM costs and damage are the things to look at with VKs.

lower is better

speed as a TK ready doesnt matter. once you hit power tech 2 i think you cap on most knucklers, go for higher damage.
