-Where is the cap for melee defence(ranged too) 125?

-What does melee defence(ranged) do? hit for less, hit less % of times??

-What does (unarmed) toughness do? "" "" ""

-Are there any caps on Defence VS stun(blind)(KD)~~~~~ and so on

Melee/Ranged Defense are capped at 120(125?). What they do is make you harder to hit, so your attacker will miss more often.

Unarmed toughness is a direct percentage of damage reduction from melee attacks when you're fighting unarmed. Example, you're punching a Sharnaff who hits you with an initial attack of 500 points. Since you have 50 unarmed toughness, you only take 250 points of damage.

Caps on defenses I think are around the 90-95% range. Now, I'm not sure if Defense vs. KD +50 means there's a 50% chance you'll resist the KD. I do remember reading a dev statement that said state/posture defenses cap around 90-95%. I'm just not sure if that's a direct relation to the defense bonuses we receive.
