In my opinion, if you are not going to drop any fencer or pistoleer, go swordsman. TKA is not worth it unless you master the profession. But as I said, this is my opinion. I wouldn't drop TKM for anything. It is the one profession that I have kept throught my grinding. I mostly do PvE but have been dabbling a little in PvP. I agree that TKM is not the best template, but I am experimenting with others right now. Also, I do nothave medic. I rely completely on buffs and my guild docs.

The only reason to dabble in TKA is Meditation, if you want fighting abbility in a dabbling prof, I'd say go swordsman.

if you only intend to dabble in this last profession, i would say tk is better. this is my personal prefernce of course.
the meditation line plus the live with state defenses and such might be most valuable, to get you capped (if youre not already)
swordsman, in my personal experience, is not terribly effective in pvp, unless youre going for turrets.
as far as medic goes...i find i really dont need it. it's nice to have, sure..but need? no
then again, i don't have teh skill points for it, so maybe i just tell myself that to make me feel better

Go ahead and start to dabble in TKA and watch how quickly you fall in luv with this profession. It has soooo many cool aspects to it - I will NEVER drop it. It is good for PvP and PvE. I really don't know too much 'bout swordsman but I know TKA r0XorZ hehe

What if I were to say this, I'm trying to solo kyrat dragons, or Nightsisters, or the Geon Cave, Do I need medic now? Which is preferable here? I realize that Force of Will and Medidtate are both great things to have but some things are 100% resist to kinetic. Ive got plenty of defenses in fencer and pistoleer, now focusing purely on dishing out damage, and effectiveness which is better?
I'm not going to let you guys off the hook that easy

heh, if youre purely looking to solo elders and krayts, youre gonna be needing medic, or a doc buddy.
i guess if youre looking to do a different type of damage, youd want to go swordsman, which will give you blast with the powerhammer

I'm a Fencer/Pistoleer and I PvP alot, but I was wondering If I should go with Swordsman or TKA. ThisFinal Addition would reallybe for PvE,but Im sure I could work either proffesion into my PvP routine.I've got 34 points to dabble with, and was wondering if some of the veteran TKAs could help me out. I really want to keep my 2 core proffesions, so giving upsome Pistoleer and/or Fencer is out. And another thing, is medic really worth it? I realize that in range its important, but is Medic that valuable? If I chose to opt outa Medic I could get some Scout (money harvesting), or more in my Fencer/Pistoleer/Tka or Fencer/Pistoleer/Swordsman templete.
