Thread: Question on skill modifiers

I have a 1.4 speed vibroknuckler. I know that translates to a hit every 1.4 seconds. What I don't understand is how my Unarmed Speed modifier, which is currently +85, factors into that. Does it mean I'm only doing 85% of my knuckler's 1.4 speed? What's the connection between the two?
