I'm currently a Trandoshan master creature handler , and been trying out unarmed and working for tka . I wonder is this a good path to go with or not ? I got some verry nice created pets with mostly 10k-12k ham and nice dmg levels one is 560-570 along with different special attacks . I been using the pet on guard to draw most of the kills away from me . Once im ready i just run up and start attacking the kill while my pet is holding most of the aggro off still . Most part this has been working good but now and then get a few extra friends attacking me instead of pet. I know i get the race bonus with being a trandoshan so i thought tkm would be good to go along with master ch . If anyone can pass some helpful info along on this that would be great ? Thanks .

I used to be a BE/CH, but I decided it was time to get out of the lab and have some fun. So, I'm pretty much doing the same thing. Basically with full TK and CH you're going to be a double tank. You won't do a whole lot of damage against high (100%)kinetic resist mobs, so getting your hands on some pets with DOT's would be a good idea. Hire yourself out to the jedi who are doing their trials and help out with the krayts.

i have already done that template and here is what i have to say a bout it...
for PvE its another great combo... just like he said.. your a double tank... but in PvP u will get ur arse handed to you because you wont have the defenses to stand up to much anyone else... but if PvE is your main thing you will do just fine

I did CH alongside rifleman, which is probably the ideal combo. The pets keep the mob away from you while you blast away. With TKM, I just can't see the point, to be honest.... You deal so much damage that the pets just end up slowing you down. And it also defeats the whole purpose of a pet tank, to take the damage instead of you.
BUT.... I loved CH, and I can see why you're trying to work that into your template. Try doing rifles, or even carbines, you might like that too.

Thanks all for some verry wonderful info . For my ch pets i got some of The best made ones i could get from a lvl 60 kimogila with strong poison and strong disease attacks to a lvl 64 rancor with strong disease attacks. Also alot of my pets most of them are in kr 60 or near and most of the other fields are near that . I could set pet to proctect another and with tkm i could be working on another kill with group members . So far for most pve since the post has been kinda good using my good pets has helped out alot , some of them have range attacks .
I have seen many tkm take down groups of rancors and with me going to tkm along with master ch i could be highly wanted in hunts im sure for what i could offer.
If anyone is ever on Kettemoor feel free to contact me and see how im going for the combat prof . I think sticking with tka would work out good incase i just dont want to use my pets or if im just helping some other player getting the skills to become a ch or even a tka .
Thanks all .
(PS " I used to post alot on other game forums , but since i been reading posts here as well doing my own i have found folks here are alot better then most others i have seen posts from. ")
