I'm trying to get an idea on how good a set of Vks can get

51-230 2.2 is the best set of VK's that I personally use. (+27 Nym enhancment with a 34% damage slice) But I have made some that ended up in the 240's using NS motors.

Is that in the 240s after a slice with the NS motors?

Mine is something like ~50 - ~165, 2.2 speed, non-sliced, 6k. You can get fairly decent VKs without forking over loads of cash.
