I realize it has been quite some time since we last had any focused discussion related to Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided. I do not want to seem as though I am repeating the same things yet again, however I do feel it is time to start a new Issues/Bug/Feature Thread due to the massive amounts of changes (i.e. Jump to Lightspeed) that have happened since our issues were last compiled.

Instead of copying an old list and just updating it, however, I would like for everyone to list issues that they would like to see resolved or features they would like to see implemented. Try to keep anything that you feel should be resolved with the Combat Upgrade seperate from your other issues if you do not mind, as it will make it easier to sort.

I'll begin with some examples:

Non-Combat Upgrade Issues:
  • Powerboost Does Not Show Up On Status Window (Buff Window)
  • Meditation Animation Forces Sitting First
  • Specials Ribbons: Would Be Nice To Be Able To Change Colors


Combat Upgrade Issues:
  • Defensive Acuity And Center Of Being
  • Unarmed Combo 1 Versus Combo 2
  • Force Of Will Timer
  • No Meditation Benefit At Master


If there is an issue that you would like to elaborate on please do so. I would add more, but I only wanted to give examples of each until I can sit down and compile my full list of issues/ideas, and feel I should not sway opinions by posting all of my thoughts immediately

This will probably be very unpopular, but I would like to see a TKA do more damage with their bare hands than with a VK. Also, I would like the option to turn off the red ribbon effect.

Did they fix the ribbons yet? Patch 11 nuked them to barely visible for me. I would like them back...


Oh, and a VK on each hand when equiped (not extra damage, but I am hitting with both hands.....)

hmm, maybe a new weapon, for our feet since we use them a lot too...

im tired of people saying new weapon... tks shouldnt even have 1 weapon, its unarmed combat...

There should be multiple ribbon effects, and ability to turn them off.

And about the new wep, Naw, they should just go along wiht the Razor Knuckler and thats it.

Simple and well put, Ryutek;


Just adding this to what you said, but I would like to see Defensive Acuity be a like a +96skill mod(at TKM) to either dodge, counterattack, or block. So it'd be like having +96 dodge OR+96 counterattack OR +96 Block for every attack.

Id personally like to see them fix UA dmg mods since are VK's are limited to so much with the high kin armor, mainly when against another melee person...

I'd like to see Power Boost 2 or Advanced Power Boost (need a good name ) in master, that lasts for a longer time. I would also like, if we MUST sit for meditating, to go into an cross legged type meditate instead of kneeling, to me thats just cooler Otherwise, for now, TKM is very balanced.

I think having a better/more advanced powerboost at master is a great idea! perhaps slightly higher stats and a longer duration.


I, however, think the kneeling meditation is BADASS and wouldn't change it for the world

Yes I think that this could be achieved without causing conflict through over-powering the profession - we know buffs will change and this will have a great effect on the place of power boost when they do, but I would think that some modest enhancements could be made for TKM

actually there is, not a big one but there is. at master your wounds are healed a hell of alot faster than they would be at med 4. at med 4 i think the max heal is about 10 or 15, at master its about 30 - 50. and i beleive the speed of hte heals is boosted as well.
