I've been an MBH for about year, and my alt meleer is considering dropping scout, entirely, in order to be able to pick up some high level skills. Dumb move?

i dropped scout and dont missit...only thing i miss is terrain negotiation. so either grind on flatland, or keep novice fo a little extra speed in hills
