Thread: anyone solo krayts? how do you do it?

In another post i replied to someone said TKM could easily solo krayts.
from experience, we dont deal nearly enough damage to solo a krayt as a pure TKM. They've got medium to heavy armor and high resists, it'd take us an hourto solo one of them.
so if its possible, how do you do it?
would love to know :smilehappy: i'm going TKM/MCH/medic 4340 so high end pve is a bit tough for me

If they said easily, then they either mean they used a big 'ol rifle to blast it away in a matter of about 5-10 minutes, or the mean they used a macro and watched a movie for a cuple hours then came back.

ah, thats what i thought. I've tanked krayts when hunting in groups, and we can take anythign the big lizard can dish out, but ive never been able to deal noticeable damage to them. That medium/heavy armor and high kinetic resist just adds up.
I might have to drop to tka 4000 and master swordsman if i ever hope to take them on solo.

rifle hahahaha!!!! I could never "solo" krayts when I was a rifleman..... and if it is possible I guarantee it'll take more than 5 - 10 mins lmao....or else that's a pretty sweet rifle hehe.

There are Krayt and then there are Krayt - Yes, I can and have solo'd a Juvenile Canyon Krayt - Only 70% Kinteic resists.. Use Headhit and it dies in about 15-20 minutes - It's bigger brothers however are a completely different animal, and I wouldn't even try LOL

krayts can be solo'd by TKM just take u a few hours though, the sad thing is why the hell should somthing like a krayt dragon be soloable it should take a group of at least 10-15 people to drop one i mean look at the size of the things they can eat a person whole.

Rifleman can solo Krayts without much of a problem, it just takes some patience. It's very possible and has been done.

First off, its a waste of time trying to solo a krayt. I have done it with a little help from a medic and a scatter pistol for 10 minutes, but mostly i was tanking and spamming uh3. I was hitting that krayt for over one and a half hours. TKM shouldnt even try to do it though, because of all the griefers that hang around the graveyard. I had about 5 spawns of krayts through out one day there, but 4 out of 5 got stolen from me by some griefing rebels. It was a Swordsmen and Rifleman combo that i couldnt keep up with.But eventually I pulled a canyon Krayt away from them but all i got were some usless armor scaled that hardly go for 2k each. But the real p!$$*% was that i broke a vk and pretty much nerfed a new suit of composite that cost me 150k. for what? those stupid armor scales! Trust me its not worth the agro unless you get lucky and get a pearl that some jedi will buy off of you

Are you serious? lol, rifleman is the absolute best profession to solo krayts with. Besides, commando, we are the only ones that have an AP3 weapon. So we already don't suffer the 50-75% damage reduction that other professions do. Not to mention the biggest toys out there, ability to speed cap, and 5X damage multiplier. 5-10 minutes is average for a rifleman. I've had to compete for loot rights on with groups of 10 before and won. When it comes to krayts, the T21 pwns all. Any rifleman/melee person out there will tell you krayts are a joke.
