I am confused, I suppose because I haven't bought any yet, but is vk damage added to your normal unarmed damge, I suppose as a bonus or is it just the damage that the vk does.....In other words is there a definate advantage to them or are they just fluff?

There is a definite advantage to using VKs.

Not only do they increase your damage output, but (usually) you will hit faster and have the additional benefit of light armor piercing.

Go get a nice speed sliced set of VKs and as your unarmed speed increases, go find some damage sliced ones. Just be careful if you're using them unbuffed, as the HAM cost can add up quickly as your unarmed speed mod increases.

no the fishing pole for tk in pvp is sweet i dunno why but i really enjoy the fishin pole

I do remember the first month on here when I was grinding MA. Didn't know what a buff was. Now I can't go unless I get my fix.....sad really.
