Hi all,

I have 2 Vibro Knucklers which i purchased and am looking for an opinion as to which would be better in PVP
by a TKM

The stats are below

1.
VK 1.7 Attack Speed Damage 71min -196max (w/o powerup)
Ham Cost Heatlh 36, Action 47, Mind 39

2.
VK 2.2 Attack Speed Damage 49min -217max (w/o powerup)
Ham Cost Health 35, Action 51, Mind 35

My guess is VK with the higher minimum damage of 71 to help with oppenents melee damage mitation ?

I dont think the 1.7 attack speed matters for a TKM if were speed capped. Ham cost arnt much of a concern for me due to buffs and the right foods.

Just looking for opinions from folks. Which would you use for PVP ?

Thanks

I'd say the second one. After all at master we hit speed cap and once you hit it the speed on your vk doesn't really matter so I always try to go for higher damage.

Hmm, id use both depending on who I fight.

For a Melee stacker, no1 all the way, but against a rm, or someone with no Melee mig use the 2nd one.

2nd is also best for pve as well.

Iowapoe is right, melee mig will tear the 2nd apart, but the 2nd one will tear ranged apart.

If my maths is right there will only be around a 5 max damage differnce againest someone with melee mitigation.

VK1 should work out around 71 - 121

VK2 should work out around 49 - 116

Personly I would probably use the second one as this is only the damage of the VK you are looking at & not the total damage range, don't forget TKas it's own damage modifier to the weapons.

I can't remember the exact workings of how it's added, but if you add you're unarmed damage to them the stats are more like (after mitigation has effected them):

VK1 321 - 371

VK2 299 - 366

Though the minimum damage will probably be out a bit as a TK has a damage range when fighting without a VK so it probably isn't 250 to both.

Then it's down to you, & which you would prefer, the lower HAM cost of the slightly lower damage.

I don't follow you guys at all. How can you say the second one?

The first one has an average damage of 133.5.

The second one has 133.

And that's before any damage mitigation, which would make the first one even better.

Average damage of first oneagainst amitigation 3 opponent: 108.5

Average damage of second oneagainst mitigation 3: 99.4

Which is the best of those two is not a matter of opinion, the FIRST one will always give betterdamage. (asthe speed is indeed irrelevant at master)

#1, most definitely. Average damage is .5 better. And melee mitigation won't affect the average damage as much.

Speed means nothing at Master TK.

Second one, speed doesn't matter as long as it is reasonable. Max damage is also higher, and since you will probably be using uahit3 over and over and over, depending on what your doing, the second one is going to keep your damage higher. Even with a vk that has a higher average amount, the second one will make higher damage more worth it. The mind cost is also lower, which is a plus since you might not always have a ton of mind, again depending on what your doing.

the best choice is always the weapon with close dmg.
