Yep, that 100% Kenetic resist sucks...But I am picking up Pikeman to help some. Now I need some pointers...
Obviously I have to use the Electric Vibro Lance. But is there a plan to it? Should I even use the TKMs status effects before switching to EViL? hehehe
AND, how well does a TKM/Pikeman tank NS damage, or resist the bleeds? Should I find anti-bleed clothing? What equipment should I use?
I'll probably stick to the low level NS for a bit...do they nail those nasty bleeds I keep hearing about?

applying states ALWAYS helps, especially intimidate, it is an absolute lifesaver in combat vs. Nightsisters.
Tanking shouldn't be a problem for a teras Kasi master, I do it all the time against elders and I can certainly hold my own while someone else deals the damage.
You will probably want to find some bio-modded clothing that adds to your bleed defense, or at least something to help you land intimidate and warcry. Most BE vendors will have clothing that adds +14 to both.
Other than that I would recommend some decent brandy, synthsteak, ahrisa and good stims (not sure what else you will have in your template) but 40 med use stim E's are fairly common nowadays. Having 2/0/0/0 medic will allow you to heal the bleeds yourself.
other than that you should be set. Try not to aggro large groups at a time.and good luck.

Not all NS have Kinetic resists...Spell Weavers , Protectors, Sentinels, Rangers, Outcasts, Initiates, Rancor Tamers, and Sentrys, all these Nightsisters DO NOT have 100% resists to Kinetic. The only NS that I think that does have 100% resists to Kinetic are the Elders and anyway if they did you need probably need a friend with a higher PvE damage output proffession for Elders like Swords or Rifleman to actually survive a fight with an Elder.

Thanks, that should help.
I plan on this template...
Master Brawler
Master Teras Kasi
Master Pikeman
Scout 3/0/4/0 (I hunt a lot for my guildies)
9 points left for some force sensitive skills...
Which gives me 107 melee defense...pretty good tank. But how much damage do the NS do? And are their bleeds worse? Should I ignore the NS for other high end targets, because they are all 100% kinetic resist? If so, what are my better targets for "mad l3wt".

The only nightsister that has 100% kinetic resists also has 100% electricity resists, so that vibro lance won't help you out. On all the other NS, kinetic is usually one of the lowest, if not the lowest, resisted damage type.

And even with Elders when your friends wear her armor down to 50% you can start to do damage then.

oh, and just so you know...
I've heard that elders are dropping crappy loots and credits right now, so good luck.

If you get a bleed stuck on you ( which you ALMOST always do) you will be phucked w/o medic 2040 to heal bleeds and use stim D's. i strongly recommend going swordsman instead of pikeman. ive done all 3 (tk/pike/swords) at one time.. swrodsman is definitely the better dmg source imo.. especially if you have a nice 700+ acklay hammer. also, drop tk down to 4004 to free up some more sp and take up medic if you want to even think about lastign NS

If I want to go NS hunting and I have to have Medic, I'll drop scout first (can't skin a NS anyway). And it only takes a few minutes to hit 2/0/0/0 medic anyway.
Kinetic Resists on Nightsisters encounters
Stalker 40%
Witch 30%
Spellweaver 5%
Slave 5%
Sentinal 35%
Sentry 15%
Ranger 30%
Rancor Tamer 30%
Rancor 30%
Protector 15%
Patrol Leader 35%
Outcast 30%
Instigator 40%
Initiate 5%
Enraged Rancor 30%
Bull Rancor 15%
Witch 30%
Spellweaver 5%
Slave 5%
Sentinal 35%
Sentry 15%
Ranger 30%
Rancor Tamer 30%
Rancor 30%
Protector 15%
Patrol Leader 35%
Outcast 30%
Instigator 40%
Initiate 5%
Enraged Rancor 30%
Bull Rancor 15%
Elder 100% to all but Blast and Energy at 25%
Ok, now...how often will I meet an elder? Seriously...I am a TKM, I can take these guys on pretty easily. I generally do almost 3000 damage per hit on a UH3. Sometimes up to 3600 with a good pup. My VKs are ~90-200 damage. Throw in Trandoshan and UH3 and I do a LOT of damage, and can keep a lot of state effects going.
Is there a reason to be afraid of these guys? The Protector looks the Scarriest, Medium armor and 600+ damage per hit. Elder's I could technically dodge...unless there are a LOT of them.
