Ok im not sure if someone has said this before, but im gonna say it again, why cant we chain special moves in a series? we are freaking martial artist for cripes sake?! how many times have you seen a martial artist pull of a spin kick, fallowed by a jumping round house, fallowed by a footsweep, fallowed by a double palm thrust to the chest? Never do you see these people in the movies repeating strait kick after strait kick with front punch and the random spinning backfist. Lets face it, teras kasi artist is based off the martial artists of the movies, why not let us play like them also? deliver multitudes of powerful and flashy moves to awe and destroy your enemys. Infact there is no reason any melee class cant pull this off, the only reason people dislike it is becouse gun users cant do it, and a good reason why they shouldnt be able to do it is simply becouse they have massive range.

According to Q-3PO

"Special moves should not be chained together for this profession since the HAM costs are expensive." This implies that the specials were correctly priced and it was, in fact, our playstyle that was broken.

According to Holo:

We'll be getting an "Across the board action cost reduction (Not changing knockdowns)" This will be on the order of 25%-75% for each skill. This, a week or so later, confirms that the HAM costs are broken after all, and that their first order of business is to lower them.

If anyone wasn't completely sure that the devs threw together the first set of correspondent responses on a 5 minute coffee break, this is confirmation. The good news is that the second answer is the good one, and that we'll be getting a significant reduction in HAM costs. We'll see how effective it is, but at least it's something.
