I'man Imperialmelee practioner (unarmed expert, heading for teras kasi)and yesterdayI did some imperial missions around bestine (destroy missions).

The problem was that one single rebel (pc rebel that is) was patrolling around bestine and killed me 3 times.

They we she did was by using some kind of dizzy attack and then some kind of knockdown... with her gun!

i didn't get one punch in, bcs she did this from far away, and i never got up once i got down no matter what i pressed...

How can I counter this? Is TKA really that nerfed in pvp vs rifle users??

Your experience is correct. If you meet a ranged user with any knockdown/dizzy/whatever ability - you are screwed and there's nothgin you can do =(

The devs know this and reply "don't bring a knife to a gunfight".

You can choose to either not pvp, pick up a gun and do the same thing to them, or stay in buildings I guess =(

It's a BH using fire knockdown(or whatever it's called) probably.

How can you counter that? As someone with expert unarmed skills, you having nothing at your disposal to counter it, I'm afraid.

On the other hand, as anelite profession, a Teras Kasi Master can.... well, a Teras Kasi Master can... can... um ... a Teras Kasi Master can ....

A Teras Kasi Master can do nothing buttry to run away. Otherwise, heis dead meat, too. Of course, he can try to get 'in close' to the enemy, too. But all that does is shorten the distance the bounty hunter will have to walk in order to deathblow you.

i got one for you.. how about not being overt when you do these missions.. sure you get a flag but your name will not be red nor will you appear red on thier radar.. do the mission head back in... if you see an imp icon on someones name stay away from them..

get a gun learn psitoleer or carbineer... thats your counter dood

My guess is he was covert Rune... I cannot count the number of times I have been incapped and DB'd after a hard fight against stormtroopers by someone who just "happened" to come by. What was the term they used? Gaying... that was it.

Yes, we are told "dont bring a knife to a gunfight." but when someone cries about not being able to take down an AT-ST with a pistol, shouldnt the devs reply "Dont shoot a pellet gun at a battleship" NO....we get "oh jees, man, your right, we better nerf the hell out of an armored heavy blastered walker..what was we thinking, a pistol CAN take down an AT-ST!" This is the amazing logic within the devs minds.
