SO my freind dueld me last night and used KnockDown. The ham cost was about -635. I am all for fixing knockdown(wich probably should be lost and forgoten about all together, but oh well), but I will more than agree that that is not correct. He took well over half his own life away to use it. He is a medic/zabrak so he won anyway, and i am just a lonely pikeman. But that was not right, I expected the HAM to be in the 200-250.

They need to fix melee, not nerf it. If they felt the need to do something that ridiculous, they should have just put a timer on it.

You have a history of posting in favor of a KD nerf both here and on the Pikeman boards because you got your arse whooped by a TKA in a duel.

Now that the seeds of your whining have bore fruit and you have seen first hand what it has doneto your friend, you think the nerf was too harsh.....what the hell did I tell you would happen?? You apparently don't listen to well or don't have much of a history with MMORPGs. When the nerf bat falls, it ALWAYS falls too hard and it can take months and even years to reverse the damage.

To make matters worse, you cotinue to post about something you know nothing about. The KD cost for your buddy was as high as it was because he was stupid enough to use KD while wearing VKs, something all aspiring TKs were taught not to do as novice brawlers. Had he unequipped the VKs, the cost would have been in the area of 200.

really, all meleers should stick together. many of our problems are shared.


i'd be happy if pistol whip had at least the same HAM costs as TKA KD--knockdown should be an emergency move, but if that becomes the case, brawler professions need some decent defense to replace it.

Dude, I think you might need to take a little nap. All that I said before was a gross missunderstanding on many peoples parts. The whole point of what i originaly said was to point out something that was funny, not something that should be fixed. But some people just kept digging into it no matter how many times i asked them to let it go. They just wouldn't. That thing got deleted before I could show a bunch of people who thought the same things though. No matter how many times I said I was sorry, for anything you might have mistook me as saying. But hey, even now you can't let it go.

My freind was wearing the VK to SHOW me how much he lost. Armed or unarmed nothing should ever cost that much. And what do you mean I shouldn't post something I know nothing about? the guy used KD on me and it took over 600 health from him. Plain and simple, I can even assume it was becouse of the TKA nerf. Did i miss anything? I there some pressing issue there that I didn't know enuff about and there for made my post about, 'hey, this is kinda crazy' uneducated and unfounded?

I think you are just angry about before and are looking for some other reason to flame poor Ark.

I think you should sit down and rethink your social skills too.

And you know what. I am glad they nerfed KD. For now it is probably better than before.
So what would you have suggested? Never mentioning that KD needed to be fixed. Wouldn't you agree that, that would have resulted in it being overlooked and there for abused even further?

Allbeit they did a piss poor job of fixing it, I am mostly glad they did, but sad how they did.

And I am all for all melee classes sticking together. But since they don't tend to adress melees as a whole but as one of the individual 4 proffesions. But sinse they refuse to do so we must adress them individualy also, while looking out on the whole for the others.

Hopefully this post will not result in another flame fest becouse people paid to much attention to finer points and not the concept of the post.

Pikeman KD was pretty much left untouched! only some 200HAM costs... BAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAAAA

probably the same as what you have now. Hard to say though. Guess how often i use KD? Practicaly never, unless I am bored, becouse they get up before i can hurt them anyway, so it nearly a complete wast of HAM. Now AOE KD.....i don't have it yet. That will help when in a group.

I will mention it to him. But I am sure he already knows. He is very compitent. He only wore the VK couse he wanted to show me how much he could kill himself in one move. But thanks.
