Otiz carefully approached the trainer, now finally feeling fit to take on the last challenge posed to him. Months of hunting deadly creatures in the wild, honing his combat and meditation skills through practice and experience had brought him here...and now, they would have to help him succeed.

The trainer grinned slightly as he saw the young Rodian approaching, standing up from having been leaning against the wall of the City Hall.

"So...you've finally returned...do you think you're ready to attempt the training?" He said, hands in his pockets.

"I am ready," Otiz replied steadily, prepared for anything.

"Then pay up."

Tossing the trainer a thick credit stick, Otiz canted his head slightly to the side. "Alright...let's do this" He said.

The trainer pulled a hand from his pocket and opened it, revealing a small stone.

"Take it, and your training will be complete," the master said.

"What?!" Otiz replied, staring at the small stone through unblinking eyes.

"All you have to do...is take the stone from my hand, and your training will be complete."

Otiz had done strange things in the past, but this was rediculous...Weeks upon weeks of physical trials that would have killed lesser beings, and now, picking up a pebble?!

"Fine..." Otiz muttered, reaching out a hand to grab it...but thet trainer quickly closed his hand and pulled it away.

"What the hell?" Otiz protested, but the trainer simply waggled a finger.

"Hmmhmhmmmm...you'll have to be faster than that, student," the old master said.

Locking eyes with the master as the pebble was once again exposed, Otiz quickly swiped a hand down at the stone without even looking, hoping to catch the master off guard, yet he grabbed at only air.

"DAMN!" Otiz muttered, and the master only laughed and laughed....

"HAHAHAHAAAA!! Ohh you know, most studens just give up at this point! You'll NEVER make it past this test!" The trainer bellowed, laughing and laughing with the stone exposed. Otiz swiped for it again, yet even when it seemed the trainers guard was down, he still was aware of everything Otiz was doing...

Finally, the trainer stopped laughing and once again held the stone out towards Otiz for him to take.

"Well? Giving up?" The trainer said.

"Hmpf...ok...try this...." Otiz muttered, swiping for the stone again, yet again he failed.

"BWAAHAHAHAAAA!" The trainer erupted with laughter once again...

"AARRGGHH!!" Otiz screamed, sending a devastating punch to the trainer's face. Eyes widening, theold master rocketed back through the air with the force of the blow, slamming against the city hall and falling completely incapacitated. Pausing momentarily in the sheer suprise of what even he himself had been able to do, Otiz looked on, almost dumbfounded...

Slowly bending down, Otiz picked up the stone, tossing it into the air and catching it again.

"Looks like my training is complete..."

And thus a new Terras Kasi Master was born...
