Thread: death of a warrior, continuing the legacy
Well since runemon had a nice lil story i think ill post the story i made up before re-rolling my character back in november i posted it on my server board but never thought of posting it here its a fairly good story and involves some of the other character I play with and fight against.
and TAL-N can critique it if he wants but i really dont care.
As the sun rose over the earthen fortress walls of arakeen, jiub awakens to a great pain all over his body., after well over500 years of life due the studying of the teras kasi secrets tolongevity have failed him, he now grows older and older every day slowly losing strength and speed. on this day he knows he will not have enough strength to carry on any longer, but in his stubborn ways he must die honorably on the battle field. It was then that he decided to raid DSM by himself knowing he would not be victorious he left a letter with his final testament withthe mayor arakeensaying his houses and property will begiven in whole to jinbu his estranged daughter.
As he tries tomount his warrior steed namaki, he stumbles and falls, Aib noticing that jiub seems to be in some sort of trouble rushes over to see what is wrong only to find jiub in his weakened state."what do you think you're doing?" says aib in a worried tone "my time has come aib i must do this i must die honorably on the battlefield.... it is the only way my warrior spirit will find peace" as jiub climbs onto namaki his mount. Aib nods to jiub and jiub hands him a note saying "take care of my estate until a girl named jinbu come to reclaim them", "i will" says aib as he says his farewells.
As jiub crosses the harsh desert sands on his mighty warrior steed namaki the kaadu he focuses all he has left into himself so he may not falter and show weakness in the face of his enemies. At the edge of the city he meditates to find his center and increase his strength so he may defeat as many as he possibly can he feels his strength returning but he knows it will only be for a short while. As he enters the town 2 storm troopers stop him in his tracks and ask what he is doing here, with lightening speed jiubuses spitting rawl to send the first storm trooper flying 10m back, before the other can call in and alert the other has his chest caved in by jiubs deadly rancor rising.
Standing triumphant yet unsatisfied he travels further into dark side mountain to find more worthy opponents and to meet his grim fate at the hands of a person worthy to admit defeat to.
walking by the town hall he sees no worthy opponents, so he decides to travel further through town towards their detatchment bases, at this moment he walks right into a group of storm troopers searching for the assailant that attacked the perimeter guards. "HERE I AM" jiub cried as he began to take out the 3 troopers surrounding him. But this time one was able to radio for help and more of the cities warriors came to their aid, but by the time the others had come it was too late for the troopers and jiub could feel his strength begin to wayne.
There in the dust stood jiubs destined match, he knew this would be his end but that wasnt going to stop him from trying to win. Letting out a final warcry he charged towards him the opponenent open fire in retalliation hitting jiub in the chest and arm, ignoring the searing blaster burns he never faltered one step then lunged at him but missed and he began to circle away from him. Jiub recovered from his lunge and turned to face him again, jiub charged once more this time landing a charging wampa to the enemies fore head sending him sprawling backwards into the side of a nearby house, jiub ran to the the enemy and used shenbit bonecrusher to take out his leg but missed and put his foot through the side of the house, where then the enemy took the oppertunity to blind him with a shot to the eyes. Feeling his strength wayne even more jiub made one last final attempt at the unkown opponent opened fire on him as he charged, in disbelief that some one could take so many shots from his deadly blaster with no armor on, jiub caught up to him and grabbed him and jiub used his hard zabrak skull to head butt his enemy shattering his helmet then round house then used several round house kicks followed by a double punch which jiub affectionatly named the spitting rawl he then looked upon the opponents face to see it was landow a man he has seen before on the battle field.
By now there was a huge crowd of warriors of the town around jiub and landow watching them fight to the death, jiub knowing that even if he did win he would not survive the volley of fire that would come from all of landows comrades. He did not intend to win anyway. landow took aim with his pistol and jiub charged once more punching away the shot that landow fired which seared his fist down to the bone, when jiub got close enough he unleashed his nexu grin upon landow's now unprotected head as landow proceeded to pistol whip jiub to the ground and began to shoot wildly at him tho jiub did not get up after that. The ever growing crowd was silent as landow walked over to see if jiub was alive or not landow kneeled down by jiub to get a closer look and before he knew it he was on his back from a swift kick to the head as Jiub jumps back up, "Ive got a little more fight leftin me, bring it on!" jiub sounding exhausted by now all of jiubs strength had left him yet through his sheer willpower he managed to stay on his feet, jiub charged at landow and landed a solid punch to his face and landow countered with a panicked shot to jiubs stomach which ended the match.
Jiub stumbled away from landow then dropped to his knees "I am done, finsh me off so that I may have a warriors death" with the sound of iminent death in his voice, Landow understanding the code that jiub lived by walks slowly toward the back of him and took aim "any last words?" proclaims landow "yes" says jiub "find my daughter..... give her this letter......so that she may carry on my legacy" jiub holds up an envelope and landow takes it from his bloody and burned hand, touched by jiubs act of trust landowannouces"i will fullfill your last request, may you die now with honor and pride". Jiub stands up and faces him, landow takes aim and fires one shot to jiubs head, killing him. the next day jiub was givin a shallow grave outside of arakeen with a single stone marking it as his final resting place, and landow set out to do jiubs final wishes.
