TKA novice deciding whether to go power first or start with Balance I, then heading up the power tree. Does KD work on mobs with 4 legs?

Knockdown works, however the dizzy/kd combo does not. Alternativly, you can always waycry and then kd.

For all you grinders, try this out pattern.
Get to 20m of your target
Lunge 1 / Intimidate
Move to 10 meters
Use whichever /unarmedhit you have (1 or 2) until itregains its posture
KD / Warcry
Use whichever /unarmedhit you have (1 or 2) until itgets up
Lunge 1 / Intimidate
Movebackto 10 meters
Use whichever /unarmedhit you have (1 or 2) until itregains its posture
KD / Warcry
Use whichever /unarmedhit you have (1 or 2) until itregains it gets up (though by now it should be very dead)
The idea being lunge forces it to its knees for about 8-10 seconds, and intiidate makes it easier to hit.Keep at10 meters because it cant hit you, but you can hit it. When it gets up just KD and Warcry then it is down for another 10 seconds. Rinse. Repeat. Once you get into a rythym the xp starts flowing in.

Just remember that warcry won't allow you to keep the enemy down on the floor once the new publish goes live.

I guess that'll make giving up master brawler a *little* less painful for me.

um Last I checked I coulda sworn intimidate lessend the targets chance to hit/dammage not make them easier to hit. I know when I'm intimidated I do about half the normal dammage although when I intimidate a mob they tend to just wiff alot.

Well I wondered about that because that is exactly what I thought. But while I was leveling the fencer stances tree last week, when the mob I was fighting was Intimidated I seemed to hit more then when they were not Intimidated. Maybe its unintended or <gasp> a bug, or maybe it wasjust pure coincidence, but it does seem to lower defenses as well as offenses.

Ya and that makes my whole pattern or Lunge / KD / Warcy kind of useless. Good thing I'm done grinding.

Yes and no... Yes KD works, but dizzy doen't keep then knocked down. a better combo is KD/warcry...until that gets nerfed real soon. the upcomming nerf is the reason I worked to finish TKA as fast as I could.
