Thread: TKM what do you want it to be continued

This is what needs to happen to TKM IMO


1. Power Boost needs to be longer

or made into a permanent state of mind until death or incap- cant power boost again until you have zero wounds, zero battle fatigue and must wait 30 minutes after death or incap.


2. Give us our own armor

TKM should flow fluently without delay, I would like to see a TKM specific armor that is light rating and is a mix of cloths and armor. When I am PvE unless im fighting krayts I dont even wear armor


3. Either change what VKs look like or give us a bleed, It looks like a blade, now if it is supposed to be more of a brass knuckle make it look like that.


5. Ranged mitigation needs to work a tad better, along with center of being.


6. TKM should get a bonus in KD and Lunge when fighting ranged players


7. and finally if TKMs are so intuned with their minds shouldnt we be able to sence things others cant...

I myself dont agree with number 1 because i think it is sufficient since we can do it ourselves in 30 secs. Number 2 i dont think many people would use the armor... as u said pve can be done without any armor at all and pvp ur gonna use composite. 3 i agree with, the republic blaster i have has a 9999 use bleed... our VKs should be able to be crafted with a bleed. Number 4? Center of being needs to work when were using abilities but i dont think we need anymore ranged defense... that would unbalance fights against gun-users. 6 is bad for the same reason... wed have to give them a bonus for fighting against unarmed... like say a longer range and wed get screwed that way too. 7 is hard to answer but we should be able to somehow sense jedi... going along with that whole story line every1 brings up...

Think about it if someone using a medium-long ranged weapon at close range is going to get owned


and it wouldnt unblance because of stun damage a rifleman fighting TKM with stun armor, the TKM is still going to lose it just prolonges feath

I like the idea about the blade. I think they should give you some sort of Energy Gauntlets. That would be really cool.

7 - Well, TKM are the true Jedi Hunters. They are trained to be very resistant to Jedi Mind Tricks and any other form of Mind effects Jedi can throw. They have a Mental Barrier if you will. Id like to see the Devs turn the TKM into what they trully should be. Not that the Jedi need yet another class to hunt them down. lol But if the Devsare playing with continuity, they should do things right. Of course, there werent over 200+ Jedi running around in this time

/shrug


I never did like the idea of Jedi being in game.

I'd like to see a nose bleed skill...seriously, a special that breaks a nose and bleeds the mind pool.

I think TK as a profession is fine the way it is. There are only 2 things I would like to see added/fixed.


1.) Fix the Combat Spam for the combo attacks.

2.) Add some content for TKs. Something like a temple you can grab a couple quests from for some vibromotors or the like. Nothing big, just something to help define what TKs are in the Star Wars Universe.

Power boost is fine as it is.. its not broken

That falls under the category "content" and has been asked for since august..

Remember if they give us a dot (which i dont feel that we need) they are gonna take something away.. as far as DOT goes.. we ARE a DOT

Look.. you seem to be asking for things that will never happen.. why concentrate on what is broken and get it fixed before you start wish listing things that will probably never be.


The whole game feels that we are overpowered.. I disagree given our weaknesses and the bugs to defence acuity, however im all for new damage types instead of vk damage stacking.

And I dont care about DOTs but its a blade, blades cut, cuts make you bleed, thats why I also said if it isnt supposed to have a bleed change what it looks like, read everything before you make you self look silly...

People that think we are overpowered in PvP pick up rifleman and they kill is pretty easy


And I say a bonus to ranged, because a rifleman that gets too close to a tkm should die


People that say we are overpoowered are just idiots taht arent high enough in a combat professian to do any good.. I saw a post where some noob said he used bpdy shot one on a TKM and got owned well duh


90 percent of people that say TKM is overpowered know nothing about TKM and know we get oowned in PvP because everone else runs like a girl


So your reply was actually pretty useless and you should go somewhere else like umm anywhere but here

Also I like my power boost idea, the orginaly plan for TKM was Jedi killer, and if TKMs are so intuned with our minds and able to PB in the first place whats wrong with making it last longer or make it a permanant state of mind until death and incap
