Personally, I stayed in Coronet, Corellia 'til I was finished with Unarmed IV (and yes, it takes a very, very loooong time). After that, I grinded through Novice on Dantooine (get Doc. buffs, Brandy/Muon, etc.) with Quenkers. Again, it's very, very slow... as you do very little damage at first, but once you're finished with Novice... the rest just cruises by. You'll be glad you did it.

After Novice, I would get the first Knockdown, then pour the rest into the Power line 'til it's at IV (that will give you big damage and speed boosts... making the rest of the trees go by faster).

Good luck.

Well, I started last night at unarmed 4 and completed unarmed 4 in 2 hours on dant (85k xp).

My method was this. I got buffed and put on my full set of 80% kinetic composite and popped a couple of brandies. I armed my speed sliced VK's (1.8 speed 80-150 dmge) andthen joined a solo-group and took regular quenker missions (around 3.1k per kill). I set myself a macro that did a berserk, followed by a pause of 25 seconds then a call to run the macro again:

/berserk1;/pause 25;/ui action toolbarSlot00;

Being grouped meant I got the xp bonus and the lairs spawned4 quenkers a time. I then just targetted the critters and hit my macro and ground away. With the buff and armour they couldn't touch me and the berserk meant I was hitting double damage every second. It seemed to work.

It still takes a while and is fairrly boring. It helps to have people to /tell.

I'm planning on using the same tactic tonight to get novice TKA.

Make sure when you go get your missions from the mission terminal that you get a "quenkar lair" and not a "savage quenkar lair". Those are very different. With buffs, brandy, and armor, I didn't have to rest between quenkars. It was a little tougher when there were two at a time, but armor, if you have it, should help that greatly. I say to use armor because I did. Honestly I don't know how much harder it would have been if I didn't have it. But I figure if you can keep from taking damage, all the better. A good tip is to use a ranged weapon at near 64m to pull one quenkar at a time. This also works to flush out more quenkars from the lair. If you don't have a ranged weapon, you can probably buy a bottom-of-the-line one on the bazaar for around 500 credits.

I got Teras Kasi from Unarmed IV just last night myself. The quenkars will give you about 2,554xp a piece. The lair is somewhere in the 3,000xp area. A helpful tip, which I forgot that I read about, was berserk. Make sure you're using berserk a TON. Your damage will more than double. I managed to get my last 40,000xp to get to Teras Kasi Novice in (I think) under two hours klling only quenkars. They have only 25% protection from kinetic attack, but they will force you to kneel every once in a while, so pay attention.

Good luck!

Yo Cobra,

If you're in a solo-group the xp from the quenkers is 3.1k instead of 2.5k and the lairs spawn more quenkers. At one time I had 5 of them attacking me and my H and A still didn't budge (my Mind took a bit of a hammering though - thank god for Muon). And my berserk macro helps (I found 25 seconds to be the optimum wait although it could be different due to the lag conditions).

JWlaxplyr7, If you are on tonight and want to work on Novice TKA together give me a shout. We can share the quenkers and it would be nice to have someone to talk to

Berserk only adds 75 dmg btw and once u get NoviceTKA it actually Reduces your dmg output because u can't use specials while using it,

Group with a Droid or any pet and you will get 3188 exp per quenker and also the 3k for the lair thats if u get 6 adult 39k of exp per lair, or if u join a solo group (just realised what there about lol) you'll get even more quenkers and exp

anyway I got upto unarmed IV hunting on Naboo then got myself a good speed sliced VK (1.5 speed 39 - 144 dmg) and went to Dantooine, Using the VK's to kill quenkers to get the 125k exp, now yes u get a massive reduction in dmg using VK before u have the certificate but you do just slightly under the dmg you do without them BUT at 1.5 speed you hit far faster than with bare hands

when I got novice I just kept on doing Quenker missions Started 7pm yesterday at Unarmed IV now am at 0-1-2-1 Novice TKA, have been using 2 x 210 36 min non BE brandy and 72% KInetic Ubese unbuffed (although I am gonna get buffed when i log on again was having to much fun to be bothered

am enjoying my self more than i have in a log while

Yeah, berserk does only add a bit to the damage but with the damage reduction from the speed sliced VK's you do more damage in totalusing berserkthan spamming specials and you dont get the HAM drain.

The solo-groups i get into are about 8+ deep. It's great because not only do you get the group xp bonus but you also get more critters spawning per lair (I was getting 5 quenkers per spawn last night = 15 per lair = great xp!!).

Last night I got buffed and got the 125k xp for novice TKA in 2 hours doing 2 quenker missions and mopping up some of the extra wildlife around the lairs I was killing. Now the fun REALLY starts!

The first time I got TKA I killed everything I could find on naboo till I got unarmed four and then someone told me to go do quenkers on dant and gave me a set of buffs and 5k. So I did. That went by, slowly but it did. The second time one of my pa members said to use speed sliced VKs even before you are certed in them, so I did, I attacked a lot faster and got up to novice in a lot less time, (this time I did quenkers all the way, you can get to unarmed 2 of one lair). Now I've killed every kind of creature on Yavin (literally) and moved to Endor, I found that blood stained Meerks (something like that, that’s how it sounds anyway) are vulnerable to kinetic. They have about 7-8k ham and give about 3900xp ungrouped with buffs and 73% kinetic armor they didn't touch me.

I heard that Bol missions were not as good since they had so much HAM. I've noticed there are a few different Bol missions. Are there some that are better than others?

I ran about 5 piket missions last night to get me the rest of the way to Balance Conditioning (I heard knockdown was a killer). Now I'm wondering if I should go to Endor...

Pikets have 9.5k HAM 25% kin Bolshave 9.1k HAM and 35% kin, so pikets are a bit easier to kill, but you get one more Bol to kill usually
