I'm personally hoping for boarding party action when multiperson ships get in to fights.
Destroy or capture the enemy ship. Capture should require special professions, Pilot, smuggler, DE? Who knows. Anyway the entire crew gets a BIG bonus for capturing a ship.

Wow! If that's not part of the plot, it should be. What an awesome idea. Close quarters fighting is the domain of the melee professions and it would actually justify investing all that time building up a character other than a pilot.

Create 1 instanced dungeon for each Multiperson ship type, PVP combat you have starting points defined and both sides arrive at near the same time. PVE combat, the boarding party starts at thier normal position and a randomly generated "crew" appears through out the ship.
Yes it would not be as easy as I make it sound, and if they haven't started implementing it, it is probably too late in the dev cycle to get it in. There are the implications of Do the ships continue to exist in "SPACE"? (They should) What happenes when another ship attacks them? Should the damage penetrate inside? What if the attackin ship is destroyed? What if the defending ship is destroyed?
Lots of questions that I can't provide answers for (At least not without a salary).
