Thread: Help a New TKM PLEASE?
One more question, I have most of my mind points on just mind, not the other two, they are just basic...is that a good way to be or should I migrate all to mind and need a buff just to play>?
/frustated

I think yourrushing PVPwithout preparing.
Well for starters, EVERYBODY doing pvp hits mind. Health and Action are easy heals if your a novice medic. I'd go with maxon focus and willpowerso that you dont take too much ofa beatingwhen they hit your mind and when your healing your Health and Action - you also recover faster.
Very important in PVP.. get some synthsteak to decrease damage by 40%, and some Thikatillo to give you 90+ against KD,canape for extra mind and some brandy and you'll lastlonger in PVP. Also, meditate and have powerboost set with Muon on the side. Don't worry too much about the spice downer, just take your muon when PVP starts.... the kicker, unfortunately is to protect your mind at all costs.
Having your mind up will let you stay up longer, the longer you stay up, the likelier your enemy will move to a defensive rolewhich more than likely will try to start running, when they do that, use unarmed lunge to stop them in their tracks just long enough for you to get closer.Trust me, when you see the Riffleman running into walls trying to figure out what just happened... it will be a good kill for you and well worth the money spent on getting ready for PVP.
Don't forget stun helmet to protect you from Jawa guns since kinetic composite is vulnerable to stun...riffleman know this and so do BH's walking around with the Genoshian pistols. If you want to take PVP to another level (assuming yousolo alot), pick up doctor to heal dizzy so you don't get pinned to the floor when they KD you or so that you buff yourself up when needed. CM's are still strong and I have yetto get ready for one, but I did notice that after I prepared with the above foods, the same CM/TK/Riffleman that took me out 20 mins earlier, was in for a big surprise (including myself) whenhis poison's ticks did not move as fast on my mind. Yes,I killed him the second round.
You may want to make a macro that has all your hits... unarmedlunge, kd,dizzy to get them on the floor quick. What I do when I have them on floor is clear up the combat que and start spamming unarmedheadhit to hit their mind.. once they get up, i move back to the other specials. The idea, being what I said above, that everybody protects their mind. If they weren't ready they'll be spending more time fumbling trying to take muon or brandy, hopefully by then you have an incapped enemy in front of you.
Youll win some andyoull lose some... just always give respect to the other person who went overt. A /bow after a db is a cool way to say "good fight" without having to send /tells... trust me, if you send a /tell you'llopen yourself to a response like "you caught me when...." ..."next time I'll make sure to ....." or " i was not at my keybaord..." etc.
DO NOT FORGET YOU HAVE Force of Will... use it as soon as you get incaped to get you more fighting time.
Everybody has their own strategy I guess, I'm just sharing mine. Good luck.
