Thread: is tka good with pistoler? or BH

I had originally thought of going master pistoler and TKA, but then later, after using some damage calsuator realised that the pistolers speed was not very good. Is it worth it to do the BH pistol tree for speed. Or should i go back to master pistoler and TKA

Master Pistoleer speed is just fine, plus you can't master TK and do BH.
I was a TKM / Rouge (DF Line smuggler) / Master Pistoleer--- worked great for pvp and pve. I understand they nerfed panic shot, just like warcry, at least they still have last ditch =)

damn people keep thinking this lol...i ment go master tka and master pistoler, or maste rpistoler and get th pistol tree on bounty hunter.....i heard you have 66 points leftover if master tka and pistoler...whta do i do with those leftover points?

i have a master bh on bria. im currently grinding a tkm/commando on tempest. do not waste your time on bh. the master scout pre-req is too much of a waste of skill points just to get some additional pistol speed and the cert for scatter. i was going to go commando/tka with some pistoleer for the speed and accuracy mods, plus more defense. and a pistoleer with a launcher pistol can kill almost anything if he knows what hes doing.

launcher pistol? can you do specials with that? does it count as a pistol or something....can you use stopping shot with it? or i it just regular attack with a mad cool look

I'm finishing up Smuggler. Been TKM since July of last year. Mastered pistoleer (out of boredom+grind) a week ago. You have enough points to do TKM/Pistoleer Master/Smuggler MAster...
So long as you don't mind no terrain negotiation and no self-heals. I get buffed every time I go out, so I don't notice a problem with healing, but the combat revamp may change that.

yes you can use specials with it. i dont understand why more commandos dont go up the pistoleer tree for the mods and certs theyd get. geo blaster, rep blaster, and the launcher from commando. thats an awesome combo with the heavy weapons and unarmed they already have.

well, here's what i did with my leftover points:
i almost have master TKA, i am a Master Medic, and working towards Master Scout at the moment so i can harvest animal resources better (i havened added up my skill points yet, but will try to get Novice Ranger as well and any ranger skills i can get that help with harvesting, because i don't do PVP, i am a strictly PVE player, and a full time hunter for several people.

I have a Triple master char, it is alot of fun. Last ditch and low blow help if they kite you, and being able to slice your own stuff and having both ranged and melee mitigation 3 is nice to have.

I am a tkm/commando.......bah they nerfed the commando prof so that now you cant hit the ground while shooting striaght down! Anyway, what used to work well is flame 4, dizzy, lunge kd2. even if you dont know them down the fire works awsome (if you get it!)
